A lukaku / benteke would have been a better option for them IMHO Not a chance - they're trying to play a style of passing fluent football. A powerhouse striker doesn't really fit into that plan. Sure it does, it means them wingers they have will have a target up front to cross to. It also means they can vary their game and be more direct when needed and counter attack with pace. Lukaku is hardly a donkey with the ball at his feet we aren't talking kenwyne Jones here You're all forgetting that we tried to get Benteke first. Also can't see Chelsea loaning us anyone. I'd have loved to get Benteke. I was more referring to players in that mould to be honest. Although of course they are like gold dust. Leffe what's the deal with Lamela?

Revenge trip. Nothing to rage about
-
Well personally speaking if I was a United fan is rather give time to a Klopp than Moyes.

A lukaku / benteke would have been a better option for them IMHO They already have one of those. He doesn't really fit the system though. he's a headcase Adebayor in his arsenal days sure. Now he's just a washed up mercenary

That was one of the first things that impressed me about Williamson when he joined us in the championship. If only he could play football. So basically we need a CB who can organise the defence. I hope JFK Is on the job /s

I commented yesterday how ridiculous the Liverpool bias was in the media singing the praises of them and the 352 they play.
-
Right now on current form he's playing better than lamela. I'm no Townsend fan personally but he's certainly a threat
-
He doesn't really poach though. If anything he provides a lot more to build-up play than to being a goal threat. Which Defoe can't really do at all. His link up play is about par for the course for the level they are aiming for. Nothing special imo I think having a striker like him creates a bit of a 1 dimensional side
-
Easy to say in hindsight but if I were united I would have gone and thrown lots of money at Klopp
-
We should always be looking to get 3 points from a championship tbh.
-
I think soldado is struggling because he's apart of the dying breed of poachers . I've got no idea why they bought him when you consider he is not all the different to Defoe
-
I know he will end up leaving this summer but personally I'm grateful for what he's done. Top players should show ambition and want to win things, until we match that as a club I can't hole a grudge against anyone who wants to better themselves
-
He wasn't a very ambitious choice and lacks experience in the champions league. I can understand why a club who believe themselves to be one of the biggest in the world have reservations about him

We will win. The are a shambles and "The derby" won't change that fact

If tiote wasnt faking injury ...

Nothing has been said about it but I wonder if we did anything different during the international break. We looked like a team today for the first time in awhile.

It's very, very rare you'll see a team recruit that many players and land on their feet. It's difficult to organise a complete overhaul and only the best managers will get away with it. I think most people knew it was going to go wrong all along - from the moment Il Duce walked through the door. Amazingly, almost half their squad have contracts ending this season too, so another overhaul is on the cards.. f***ing hell Plus you've got players like O'Shea and Wes Brown taking £50k a week. They are so f***ed. They were awful buys and will be very difficult to shift especially brown. They are in a whole heap of trouble
-
He's under a huge amount of pressure, they have totally lost that aura they once had. Fergie did wonders with that team for me.
-
Would not surprise me if they did
-
Haha, O'Neil was taking them down lol

Aye we to into the game with a bit of morale they to into it as a brief stop on the road to the championship
