Its the best decision youve made to be fair. Brett Ian & happy would club together to put a hit out on you if you touched Pardew lol
-
Yup. I'll still suffer watching though
-
I think "Deserving of blame" is probably the wrong terminology to be honest. Could the match going fans do more to put pressure on Ashley? I think the answer is yes.
-
Objectively what are his strengths?
-
Deserves a response but will only fall on deaf ears
-
PR Exercise. Remember them 5 players we were signing after the cup game?
-
Gouff will benefit from playing centrally we've all seen he has a lot more to his game than Cisse As for Cisse we might as well sell him he's no world beater just a average poacher
-
Doesn't for me. Not one mention of Pardews inept tactics

Your point makes no sense to be honest. 25% lost revenue is still 25% lost revenue regardless of how much Sky/BT gives us. Those figures are based on the last accounts. The new TV deal will add another £20m and make it closer to 15% Realistically, the most succesful campaign imaginable would leave about 20,000 still going so it's only 7% of income lost. He'd still be earning more in 2013/2014 than he did in 12/13. It's still lost income though happy and a clear message that we've had enough. How could media outlets ignore a big drop off in our attendance coordinated with other action.

media on a national level don't care, sure the reporters who work for the nationals probably care but the guys deciding whats headline news in London don't. Why care about us when there's a title race between two oil funded super teams to get excited over? Or Man Utd only being above average this season how can the fans cope with the horrors of being 7th?! Or the race for the 4th place trophy? All we're worthy of is an occasional tut tut in MA's direction and not any kind of investigative forensic analysis of what Ashley is doing at the club. I'm not sure I agree with this to be honest. In the past we've been massive news in the national media. The lack of dissent from the fans means the media look at us as if everything is OK. lets just say I have very little faith in the media. Not that it makes a blind bit of difference, bad headlines don't affect Ashley badly hell they're probably a benefit since the name sports direct gets thrown around a lot when referring to him as its owner and thats a lot of free advertising I have no faith in them either mate. The point I'm making is more the fact the media are the ones which set the tone. They are the ones who will shape the overall impression of the club and the level of fan engagement. You know what they say: He who controls the media controls the people.

Attendances will suffer though, I know our average attendance this season is 50k but I do believe this would drop if people made a concerted effort to stop investing in this regime.

I think the divisions within our fanbase are one of the things holding the club back. A consensus on how bad the things are appear to be some way off though. The media doesn't help as I'm yet to see anyone within the media really be critical of Ashley et al.
-
The national journalists know fuck all about us that's why, the likes of winter and Custis don't make it this far north very often. Bottom line is regardless of what's going on at board room level we have a team which is more than capable of giving the mackems a game yet for the 3rd Derby in a row this hasn't come to fruition

He should be thanking the fans for not hanging him from the Tyne.
-
Sounds like a man who will go have a toast with mike over a bottle of red
-
He would get banned if he probed too much though. The club wouldn't ban the BBC they could stop any interviews like this or with any of the squad. I'm sure they could but they wouldn't . Its the BBC FFS
-
What? The sighs when we lost posession didn't help according to him Righto, it wasn't the tactic of hoofing that caused that. What an utter detestable c***. Comedian acts like this isn't his tactic

Mick Lowes is pathetic. Pandering fucking interviews
-
Everything felt like a percentages game. From the man who makes us hoof it from free kicks within our own half
-
I expect this will be the tactic moving forward as well. Let's be honest Pardew is a 4-4-2 long ball man Yet our better results come playing decent football. The bloke is f***ing mental in the head if he's turning back to a tactic that nearly got us relegated last season. He will be back in his shell now though. The funny thing is all the sides in the league which are direct, stoke west ham are all struggling and they actually have the players which fit the system. Tactically speaking we were awful today, totally disjointed display with oceans of space between the lines and a lack of cohesion when it came to pressing. I knew the first half of the season wouldnt last
