Do you really think he does as I don't see it as I said anyone can pass the ball 10 - 15 yards it's not going to win you games and he is just too easily outmuscled for me. Never said it does, but the midfield has to be balanced. The two today like to run a lot aimlessly but no one who dictates the tempo from deep. It's fine to have one of Colback and Sissoko but not both, they need to have Anita or Tiote behind them to give them the ball when things are going well and slow it down when things are not. Not saying the situation is perfect and we can't improve on the current options, but one of Tiote or Anita should always play until we are able to acquire better options. Having two midfielders who don't understand how to play deep is asking for trouble and moronic on the managers behalf. Isn't Colback supposed to be a deep lying midfielder? I was under the impression that's the position he's been picked to play for England. Only picked to make the numbers up to be fair.

Fucking hell man was all when Rolando was speaking then Pardew suddenly pops up with his drivel about who's he's given debuts too
-
Ronaldo! Hoping he doesn't see it

PMSL I've also written off De Jong and partially written off Riviere. To be fair mind, Cabella is s*** and I cannot believe we've frozen out HBA for him.

Great work again mate. You and Slim are NO's Batman and Robin

Wasn't having a go at you mate. It just seems everytime someone let's something slip on twatter when they shouldn't cry "hacked"

Roma 1 up. Nainggolan with a very nice hit.

Damn. Someone hacked his twitter apparently. Sure they have

Especially if they get Remy in to cover Diego costa as well. They've given the league a lesson in squad building to be fair. It barely needed adding to but Mourinho has bought very well. Got everyone in early doors to get them coached and assimilated too which is always a good thing. Matic and Fabregas are so good it barely matters who the 3rd player is, be it a breaker away or another creator at home. I think it did need adding to personally but I also think he's bought really well. He's now got two players per position who are of genuine class and knowing Mourinho he'll always opt to go for two holding midfielders in the big games we'll even see him adopt this approach at home to be honest. Ramires is almost the perfect partner is Mourinhos eyes as he can cover the ground that Matic can't also bare in mind how risk averse Mourinho is.

It's a weird one I don't think I actively want to use win or lose at the moment. I can't quite bring myself to cheer the opposition scoring (and I'd probably get kicked in at the ground) but I'm certainly not arsed when they do. This is me to a degree, I don't know if there's much chance of Pardew getting sacked so I don't know what to think. Didn't want us to win today though tbh, the guy would have been unbearable in the press for weeks and used it to cement his position. The only reason I want us to lose is hope. With Pardew in charge I feel totally hopeless and without any enjoyment or enthusiasm for the club, even though us losing and him possibly being sacked doesn't guarantee anything I'll take it purely because at least I can hope for better.

Mourinho is going to be unbearable in the post match interview isn't he?
-
Due to the way we play I think he'll struggle to score too, all we do is pass it sideways and backwards we don't get to the byline anywhere near often enough.
-
If this is the case it just goes to show how lacking we are leadership wise on the pitch especially defensively. The fact we haven't improved the centre of the defence says it all especially considering how many goals we've shipped over the past 2 years.

I feel the opposite lol. I like how ruthless they are and Matic is a f***ing great player. Bet you like Mourinho though, whereas I f***ing despise him. Matic though, is unreal Don't get me wrong mate he's an absolute c*** and maybe I've fallen for the media portrayal but not only is he a good manager he's a winner and as a Newcastle fan I respect that. fair comment I like his logic too for example against weaker opposition he played fabregas deeper and just played with one "proper" holding midfield. He's come up against Everton today and pushed Fabregas up and drafted in Ramires to be the shuttle it just makes sense tactically and I admire that.

Some finish that though.

Again we want Pardew out and in order to do this we must lose. I'm not sure what's so hard to grasp about "short term pain long gain" even if this isn't guaranteed the fact it contains hope is enough for some of us.
