A move towards a more possession orientated style would suite Anita more than it would Tiote hence why I'd personally drop Tiote Wild generalisations are wild generalisations. I also haven't seen much wrong in Tiote keeping possession lately. Those potshots aren't example possession based I just think Anita in a busquets role is more beneficial than Tiote

I think it does, it just doesn't suit our manager. After all if Swansea can make it work with the likes of Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge I see no reason why we couldn't.

Same side as mine. Great minds think a like and all... No Tiote? I think our recent form has a lot to do with Tiote coming back to form. Having a hardtackling player isn't always needed. A player who is positionally good and can make interceptions is preferable to a player who is liable to give away free kicks in dangerous areas and take wild potshots everygame.

It all depends on your aspirations I suppose, if you want us to push on for a European place a home draw against a injury hit Southampton side isn't a good result. Personally I feel we should be aspiring to more.

It was a Southampton side with half a dozen first team players out. We we're almost full strength coming off the back of our first win at Old Trafford in 41 years. Expectations really have been lowered under Pardew and Ashley Lalana (sp?), Rodriguez and co have caused plenty of problems for teams a lot better than us. We were done on the counter after a terrible mistake. It happens. Can't win em all. Last season we'd have buckled and lost. Doesn't detract from what I wrote. As Rodriguez is a decent player but no world beater, and Lallana only played for 45 minutes. If our manager had a more positive attitude and told his players to go out and put them to the sword instead of telling them to drop deeper and tighten up we would have put them to the sword. It's becoming pathetic seeing our lads trudge out for the second half looking scared to express themselves. Ah c'mon. Scared to express themselves? I don't doubt we've stupidly gone defensive in past games, but I didn't see that today. We got done for piling too many forward if anything. When Remy's off colour there's not enough goals in this team to put anyone to the sword, regardless of the manager's attitude. Pardew likes to protect leads. Everytime we are leading at the break we come for the second half like cowards.

Bit of both imo, I don't think he's good enough to be a starter for a club of our size as he really doesn't offer anything which make us more of a threat. We should sell him and take whatever we can get.

and he replaced an anonymous Shola, but when they've got it in for you... Not at all, why don't we keep Gouff on the pitch and bring Ben Arfa on for Shola? As I said previously Cisse and Remy don't compliment each other.
