There’s mitigation but the warning signs were there from the word go in an August when we got pumped 3-0 at Brighton.

Last season we had that real stubbornness about us. We could absorb attack after attack, this season we’ve flipped and are scoring a boatload but have completely lost the balance at the other end. The takeover started with us essentially buying a new back 4 and keeper and I think that’s where we need to go back to now. Focus on the spine of the side.

Felt their performance was a typical raise your game in a big match in front of the cameras. It was improved but they never really troubled Arsenal. With our away form we could quite easily come unstuck but I think we will take a point.
