Seen a bit of a narrative creeping in that we’ve always struggled against bottom half teams during his time here due to low blocks. Complete re-writing of history that, the opposite is true, one of our biggest strengths has been putting away these teams home and away. Reality is we’ve lost a cold killer up front and not replaced him, our attacking quality has dropped off so much and it needs sorted

You’re blaming him for the summer window

The transfer business has been exemplary since the takeover bar last summer, that wasn’t all Eddie Howe, that was Staveley and others driving it. Now it’s gone wrong it’s ALL him? horseshit tbh. The leadership and direction at this club has been abysmal. Doe he not get any slack at all at how the club have handled it? It’s all him aye? He’s not blameless, but the business we do can’t fall all at his door man, just say you want him out then

Did he get his first choice players?

It wasn’t for that season though. Turned out that way. Best one was January 22, Burn, Trippier and Bruno

Fair enough but that’s murky. Is that his job ? I’m not so sure. I’m not absolving him totally but I think you said yourself in an earlier post that the general malaise at the club should take the blame and I agree

Who’s he? Eddie Howe? Or did he want Ekitike and Pedro? He did and the club failed. He will rightly need to take responsibility for today and the season but to level criticism at him alone for the summer is pure madness tbh

We’re a microcosm of a club. We’ve gone from a relegation club to a CL club, trophy lifting to having a banter era all in the space of a few years. I don’t know what to think, I still back the manager and I think we, as fans and the club need a break. End of season for a proper assessment

We need our 2 wide players Barnes and Murphy/Elanga narrow as possible as that’s where they’ll be the most dangerous close to Gordon. Full backs have a huge job of providing the width high up the pitch - it’s a big ask. our wide men staying wide and crossing balls in will be perfect for them. We really need that early breakthrough, get it and we’ll win comfortably. Longer it goes can see them growing into it.

Think he’s been a massive miss, and it’s gone under radar how much we have missed him
