Although Isaks statement is on his Instagram account, I still dont believe it was drafted by him. It smacks to me of yet another desperate attempt by his agent to blame the club for breaking a non existent promise. His agent is trying to distance himself from public opinion now suggesting Isak should sack him for the debacle he has caused!!!

It's his agent/adviser who is behind everything thats reported in the media. I doubt Isak has said anything at all.

The thing is Liverpool have spent a lot of money and may be close to breaching PSR if they get Isak now they have 3 years to comply. If we hold on to Isak for another year then sell to Liverpool at £150m then they only have two years to comply with PSR. No doubt Liverpool will be allowed special circumstances namely that NUFC acted unreasonably in demanding £150m.

If Isak refuses to train and goes AWOL that's fine. Sack him but retain his registration so his career is ruined.

We need to let agents know that we won't be held to ransom. They clearly want to move Isak on with a windfall of £15m from his sale and to also get a lump sum from Liverpool for facilitating the transfer. I'm coming round to sticking Izak with the u21s for 3 years and let him go on a free age 29 with clubs wary of taking a chance on his unprofessional behaviour.
