I'm 72 years of age next April and I'm still waiting to see us win a domestic trophy as an adult, apart from the Fairs Cup, which most of the media seem to not recognise as a domestic trophy. Sorry but completely underwhelmed by this. To me the Carabao cup is a tin pot cup where most of the top 6 play their second string in the early rounds. I can't see us beating a full strength Man u in the final either. The only hope is that they target a top 4 slot and play a weakened side, but even then they have strength in ddepth so I can't get carried away when the likely outcome is yet another cup final defeat. This is a pointless subject. The only rule that should be implemented is no added time at all. If a team spends 90 minutes hacking the ball into touch so be it. It's not like time wasting is a relatively new scenario. Players consistently go down faking injury to give team mates a chance to have a breather because they are under the cosh, and then score a winner in the time added on by the ref for that time wasting.

Seems to me before Isak that this summer we have only spent around £50m on the first team. £10m to make Target permanent £10m on Pope and £30m on Botman. So £58m on Isak and we still haven't spent as much as West Ham who have spent around £128m this summer. So matching the Paqueta bid is doable in my book then a right winger on loan and the squad is looking good.
