  1. Certainly appears that way. I was a bit taken aback by the amount of criticism directed his way after the Brighton game. It was as if a poor 25 minutes completely undone the fact he probably kept us up last season due to his impact on the team offensively, and many people were alluding to his supposed attitude problems from Nice despite the fact he's brought nothing but positivity to our club since arriving. Yep
  2. Not the best angle... Currently 2-2
  3. Which is why he’s become less likable and more irritating as he’s clearly not that ”special” anymore. When is the last time he claimed to be special? Was about 15 years ago wasn't it? I don’t know and not the point. He’s not as good as he once was, which makes me less tolerable towards his arrogance. That was my point.

  5. This. I love and hate him. In terms of success and building a winning team he was the best. Turgid football. But he’s a proper manager in a way, obsessive about the game, great tactician. The arrogant tosser.
  6. Good result yesterday Brewcie. Keep it up and I might not hate you intensely.
  7. He’s used to clubs like Hull and Sheffield Wednesday
  8. I understand that managers value tactics differently and sometimes too much focus is put on it, but I’m actually so frustrated at what he’s saying, or not saying, that I feel an urge to e-mail him. Just to ask him if he does analyse games and situations at all. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him do that in interviews. Most managers, even the PFMs, will do that now and then, say something like we gave them to much space there and there or our back four fell too deep or they were compact and we didn’t move the ball quickly enough or whatever. I can’t remember him delivering anything reminiscing of a tactical analysis. With him is always an excuse and then ”back to basics, we have to roll up or sleeves”. I want managers to be able to at least pretend that they know what went wrong and what should be done about it. Maybe it’s just me.
  9. I dunno, Almiron is more of a wide player/forward for me. I want him to start every game though, so if him occupying a central playmaker role is better for the team, so be it.
  10. Eddie Howe was mentioned, I don’t think he’s the answer but I’d definitely take him.
  11. Can’t believe I’m back to absolutely despising the inept manager. Pardew all over again. What’s the fucking point...
  12. Yet the referee had a clear line of sight and only gave a yellow. He only gave a red when instructed too. And people still defend referee’s. You were having a go at VAR earlier and now it’s helped get the decision right (again) you’re having a go at the ref instead. Fact is VAR and the ref combined got all the major decisions spot on today. Newcastle only have themselves to blame for being played off the park and losing comprehensively at home to Brighton and fucking Hove Albion

  14. That's never a real quote man I love that it infers Bruce thinks there's 1 single computer. He saw a computer in Charnley’s office. ”Ah, that’s the club computer” he pondered.
