Understat has them 3rd on xPTs. Fulham 4th. Both of them have been very very good this season.

I'm slightly more optimistic. We've got a week between our next couple of games to recover a bit. Our lack of depth in theory was more of an issue over the last few weeks where we went on this amazing run. Other teams have the congestion issue to of course but all things being equal and balanced we came out of it on top. If we avoid injuries I think we can be in the fight though we really do need strengthening.

Was looking back at my list following the christmas period and think I still broadly agree with it. Notable changes is Tonali goes top 4 and Murphy goes top 20. It's really felt recently though like it could be the depth that's our undoing. Having Barnes back will help but at the moment the drop off to our subs feels really stark. Howe getting 9 wins on the bounce is seriously impressive.

If a player commits a few minor fouls they'll often get booked for an accumulation of them. How do you apply that to a team? Especially if you're clever and spread the fouls around. Just book some poor sod for a minor challenge even though it's his first offence as a warning to everyone else you've had enough?

I'm all for letting a game flow and not throwing cards out but that took it too far. You could tell the players knew they could get away with anything.

Same. Earlier in the season I had him ahead of JL in our best 11. I'm not really sure what's happened. A mixture of injuries, consistency, and confidence I guess. There's a player there, and we need a squad, but if there's decent money to be had I wouldn't be saying no as things stand.
