The account only being active since April makes me suspicious it isn’t actually him... I don't do twitter tbh, but when I look at his profile it says April 2009? Only put out 12 Tweets (first one in April this year). Also seems odd that all 12 of the Tweets are in relation to NUFC, football in general, or things like BLM and Captain Tom. You’d have thought he’d post about non-UK news, retweet business things etc. His followers are also NUFC related stuff or UK/US news, barely any friends, business associates etc. Maybe it is him and he signed up in 2009 but only started using the account when the takeover hit the news. Just seems really peculiar. Ah that's fair aye. Just add it to the list of shit we have to avoid in the takeover minefield.

This view should be quite unbelievable, but knowing our gutter press it's totally normal. We shouldn't have any official line because, you know, it's just fucking obvious. What a rediculous statement ffs. If it's so obvious the PL can happily reject this bid and allow one of their member clubs to actually try and function? They've fucked up, I don't care about the moral arguement or the piracy arguement (I do obviously), they've pussy footed out of a decision for whatever reason. One can only assume it's because it doesn't stand up.

Whether you believe what staveley says, she mentioned that unless something changed they'd neither approve nor reject. Who is to blame to why we are at this impasse is anyone's guess. You either believe PIF are not making enough effort to be honest or the PL have overstepped the OD test remit. Until then we are all being played in ways unbeknownst to ourselves.

Probably because they're knocking on that door anyways and you have MLF Stewy trying to sell the MLF willy FTM 9-1. In all seriousness I think it's because this bloke hasn't exactly got a great track record in anything really. His wealth is unknown, his backing unknown and he seems to thrive on the limelight and association to wealth without anyone actually knowing if he's worth owt. He's gonna need deep pockets down the road and a solid plan to get these back to anything resembling what he's been harping on about the last couple weeks.

Surprised no one has asked where he managed to purchase a rich energy drink in sunlun.

This could equally apply to Caulkin though. And those who are basing their optimism on 3rd party info coming from Caulkin. They're literally relaying what they are told, Is Penn being told something to the contrary? If so he's been invited many a time to elaborate on his short and sweet posts to let us know why he thinks differently. He could very well be correct in his posts, but he literally snipes any positivity with the caveat that the fans are deluded and that's that. He's as elusive as Mr Masters

I'm aware them trainers probably cost a fortune, but ffs man haha. Look like some shite knock offs from Brunswick shoe warehouse.

Staveley bid isn't real? WTF? “But the reality is that I know what I am doing, I work incredibly hard, I have nothing to hide, I welcome scrutiny, I know football, and I am very passionate. "Perhaps it [his approach] is unorthodox, but look at the absolute shambles down the road with the Staveley takeover that took forever and was actually a load of nonsense. "As far as I'm concerned, I'm nothing like that - some financial suit that wants to bring in moneymen, I'm not interested. Up the road actually you pissy tramp. If a Sunderland owner ever embodied the true reflection of Sunderland, it's this man.

Do the NUST have any ideas going forward to apply more pressure to the PL? Need this to stay relevant and feel another orchestrated attempt is probably going to be needed now if not soon! I've been trying to think of ways to further the protests but not sure what else we can do en masse. I think further dialogue with buyers and/or club would be welcomed, as In what are they doing to try and keep this alive if anything?

Too many people associating the protestations against PL and commercial partners on social media as a way of demanding the takeover be passed. In our perfect world that would be great. But we all know fine well that's not going to happen and nor should it, for obvious reasons. We are pushing for a final decision either way or a reason why we can't conclude, for a line to be drawn so we can all move on and pick apart the carcass at the end and blame attributed accordingly. It's not right that we have to go to such extremes for just some answers on why this can't go ahead. All it does is whips people into a frenzy and crazy conspiracy stories. I don't think it matters what side of the fence you're on, the PL have handled this poorly to the point our club is stuck in a stasis, rudderless and just ticking along on life support. We really do get the brunt of all the shit as fans.

All well and good, but he's almost spun a pro-saudi line, and that's not helpful at all. Well done to him for building himself up, but he does not represent me or my feelings towards nufc or this takeover. He should have passed it over to the NUST. They should be our only vehicle to convey fans thoughts atm. Got no problem at all with him spinning a pro Saudi line, they are big investors in Britain and the people we vote into govt spin pro Saudi BS. So cry me a river. That's your prerogative mate and you do you

If you’d put yourself up then you could’ve said what you wanted to say. I've joined the NUST, my backing is there and I will forward my concerns too them. Your way is basically saying we all should individually ring talksport and local media, further enhancing the split in fans for me. I'm behind the trust as I believe a single voice with the backing of the majority is the best way to convey our message. And yeah I say almost as he didn't flat out say I love the Saudis and MBS is propa standup. He was challenged about their lack of morals and didn't distance himself enough. I can have this opinion on him, I don't despise the bloke. I think he knows his involvement in anything nufc is devisive most of the time and as such should take a quieter role in it all, to avoid the Steve wraith show it always ends up as. Don't wish to argue with anyone. My thoughts are allow the NUST to fight the cause under one banner.
