That is a massive surprise. For what it is worth, it was Ian Mearns who told me he was a Sunderland fan and that asking him to do anything was a waste of time in regards to NUFC. They'll still claim protests don't achieve anything. Very true, but it'd be hilarious. It would literally go against everything that fanbase has conditioned itself to.

They won't be arsed as they'll still be celebrating last Thursday's news - wankers! It'll absolutely kill them IF all our actions and protests gets it back on track and it completes while they sit and watch their own house burn. Fanciful thinking but it would be the absolute perfect case study for how protests can lead to positive outcomes, opposed to sitting their having pints with stu and charlie.

Caught a snippet of Steve harmison(cricket lad?) Talking about it yesterday on talksport. He pushed a good message and came across quite well until he said something about fans don't really understand all of the piracy and human rights stuff attributed to SA. I'd say people have had to become quite educated in it now.

So, to summarise. PIF feel they have submitted enough evidence to prove that they are independent from state and have supplied names of I volved people's. Prem think state can exert power over PIF and therefore want to test higher ranking people within the state. PIF don't like that and are pissed off their answers aren't sufficient for prem. PIF have pulled out in a strop and prem are just not entertaining explaining the situation as they think they've done enough on their part. So pretty much as it has been for weeks haha
