I don't really share the pessimism that he might get the job. Considering how frightened the club are of relegation & Carver having absolutely no credible track record to suggest he's capable enough, I don't think he'll get it even if we scrape 10th. Relegation would be a huge possibility and gates would definitely go down. Even by our new pitiful standards he's too much of a risk.

This is it for me, young kids are completely blown away by seeing the pitch and stadium for the first time. They are memories that stay with you and ones that I would not want my kid(s) to miss out on. Who knows, once they get a bit older things might have changed.

There's always been glory kids around, they usually end up saying they support Newcastle 10 years later. I know loads who 'supported' Liverpool, Everton, Man U etc, who now don't.

Streaming live games seems to be where its heading so it wouldn't surprise me if the TV companies start offering these kind of deals. I imagine it would just further swell the coffers of the clubs as they take a cut from each subscription. Could generate huge cash.
