Still should have got at least a draw. That game particularly riles me because Everton were f***ing woeful, they're by far the worst team I've seen play at SJP this season, they were f***ing terrible. And we lost due to a Darlow error, spurning of chances and bad luck in the first half and then players not being arsed in the second. Was this not the game when Ritchie or Merino cannoned the post? Sure there was consecutive games when we hit the wood work. Might have even been the same game.

I’d be massively worried if we needed 3 wins from 5 like, massively... hands on heart I think we will go down (just our luck, Slimani, Keeper and Kennedy too little too late and home form etc.), it is touch and go of course and not a given. I’d say 3-4 more wins would do it, but I can honestly see us not winning another game all season... 2 points dropped yesterday could be very costly along with all hose other dropped points at home! Aye because the mentality to defend 15 mins into a game is the same as 15 mins remaining, no. Whether you like it our not, players will drop back and lose their calm when closing out a game. Unfortunately we don't have enough players to handle the pressure.

Actually, Rafas just said in-game management in his post match interview. Which sums it up. Some of our players panic and want the game over by kicking the ball anywhere rather than using their brain.

It is when you're in a relegation dogfight 2-0 up away from home with ten minutes to go looking comfortable - then the substitutions. Madness. It's about control. Most of these players don't have the intelligence to play for fouls and waste time when it counts. As a result Rafa over compensates by bringing on defensive players. I personally would have left Gayle on for his pace, and used Merino rather than Hayden if we were going to bulk the midfield out. But I can see why he's done it, the team are naive and lack confidence to see a game out.

From 10 games is optimistic when we have 4 of the top 6 to play.

Some of our recent draws are horrible, like Brighton 0-0 Swansea 1-1 Burnley 1-1 (85min OG and a missed pen) Palace 1-1 Bournemouth 2-2, after 2-0 up at 79 mins.
