  1. We've only lost twice in the league since 16th December. Both against City and neither was a hammering
  2. Agreed. Even if we'd scored a 3rd. Rafa would have went 10-0-1. Perez would have never held the ball up to relieve pressure and the subs mean we lose 3-3. Fucking Rafa.
  3. He got no chance for second. First one is a gamble and he lost it. Some may argue he didn't need to gamble. What do you mean a gamble? He never moved because the ball was moving all over.
  4. They're two whole points ahead of us, then. Exactly They have by far the hardest 10 fixtures for a bottom half team. And a quarter final against Man Utd. They essentially have 3 winnable games that wouldn't come as a surprise. Everything else is literally top 8.
  5. Can't see more than 5pts there  That would have us on 34 points for 34 games played. 4 games remaining including Everton, West Brom, and Watford. I'd fancy a win from one of those 37, job done.
  6. Soton have bad fixtures. Play top 10 teams in their last 6 games. 3 of their next 4 are away from home. They have Stoke (H), Us (A), Swansea (A) and West Ham (A). If we don't lose our home game against them, I think they are going the same way as West Brom. Stoke have Soton next week, they can't both win, then face City, Everton, Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham and Liverpool on the bounce. Its looking bad for them, but it would have been worse had we had 2 more points.
  7. Nope. Came on for Kenedy. And should have scored? He was one on one but he was facing the keeper so no guarantees he would have scored, he squared it to Shelvey who missed a tap in into an open goal. It wasn't a tap in like, Ake was ontop of him.
  8. Could have been joint 10th had we hung on. Even at 2-1.
  9. That draw has made the H game against Soton huge.
  10. Concede 2 and get 3 yellows in the last 10 mins, its f***ing pathetic.
  11. He got the assist last match and the alternative is Joselu. You are now enlightened.
  12. I haven't watched this yet but I'll text my mate about it when I do don't worry! He does say on the podcast that he thought Bobbys team with Dyer was more entertaining than Keegan and the actual entertainers. He's deffo too young to remember.
  13. His version of shitness is down to his personality, mad antics, and supposed attitude toward learning the defensive side of the game, I agree But maybe he'd be areet if he could sort it out. Joselu has nothing to sort, his version of shitness is non-negotiable. Mitro needs to be refined, polished, but most importantly mature, Joselu needs melting down. For me that's why Mitros in the less s*** / areet bracket. There is nowt wrong with people wanting him playing or to do well at Fulham, under the pretence he might just learn something and become the player we thought we'd poached from BvB and Porto etc. It doesn't mean there is an unfathomable Mitro love in. It's clear he has technical ability lurking somewhere, it comes out in occasional flashes when he gets assists, brings the ball down on his chest, clever lay offs etc. It's got f*** all to do with him being mental/mad from chewing pyro as a Partizan player, which is what you seem to label as peoples reason for starting him.
  14. "2nd season in a different team under a different manager. A season in which he still missed s*** loads of chances, ran about, and (not his fault) definitely shouldn't have been our main striker." - Joselu, 17/18 They are entirely incomparable as there is to many confounding variables like the quality of the team around him, manager etc. But the none grey area is goals, and I doubt there is anybody who could see Joselu getting 9 PL goals in what was essentially less than 25 full games, whether in Rafas or McClarens team. He's s****, Mitro is slightly less s****. I don't get why you have such a knarking problem when people say he's areet
  15. At the age of 22ish, Joselu was hammering in 5 goals across 2 seasons for Hoffenheim? I can't be selective if Joselu is consistently s***. edit: Going by PL minutes, Joselu has roughly 600 minutes of game time remaining to score 5 more goals and get 3 more assists, otherwise Mitro is statistically more useful in both scoring and creating, at a younger age.
  16. What other stats should I be selecting like? Joselu never played in Belgium, and Mitro never in Spain / Germany. That's Joselus entire PL career (over 40 games) compared to Mitros only PL season? If anything adding this season gives Mitro 6 more appearances and an extra goal?
  17. Turned it off when he said 29,000 fans watched that game. I know mackems can't count be if he thought that shithole was even 30% full, let alone 59% full, he's a fuckwit
  18. Mitro is an international striker with 9 PL goals in a debut season at the age of 21. Joselu is a tin pot Bundesliga rejected who's hit 8 PL goals at the age of 27 in his PL career to date. These are facts. The only thing up for debate is attitude, Mitro is a radjee, Joselu runs about and doesn't cause a fuss. Are either good enough, probably not. Is Mitro of higher quality than Joselu, absolutely.

    Paul Dummett

I'm sure Simpsons first goal for us was a home game in the championship when he ballooned a cross that luckily landed inside the far post. He was god awful with the ball at his feet, and 1v1 in either direction.
  20. Nonsense. I find the idea that he's 'obviously better than the alternative' daft, it's based on nothing. It's not nonsense, it's both mine and alot of other fans opinion that a young striker who represents his country and scored 9 PL goals in his first season could offer more than Joselu. It's not hard.
  21. Aye, KI regularly says Mitro is placed on a pedestal by "freaks" and "Mitro fans" because he's got PASHUN, ignoring the fact people just want him playing because he's obviously better than the alternative.
