Well, that massively depends on what year Cisse he's given like. The one from the first 6 months he would be. After that, I'm not so sure.

Chris Hughton wasn't exactly anything out of this world like. As nice a guy as he is, he wasn't a tactical revolutionary. He didn't galvanise us like Benitez did through words and feelings. We simply had better players than other teams in that league, beat them and then that momentum never stopped.

It was obvious from a couple minutes watching him that he'd have been an a brilliant signing without them as well. Must be absolute shite for your body to just give up when you should be approaching your prime and moving into the main leagues in europe.

The problem is its not like we can force the club to stay down to get rid of him. He plays the market, pockets the TV money so the club can afford to blow other championship clubs out of the water. We get huge press coverage and tv games alot down there so SD still gets some advertising. We already know Gayle will just be brought back, Murphy got double figures down there at Norwich, Ritchie did here. There can't be a long haul slog because the club is ran in a way that allows it just bounce back between leagues.

In a weird, peverse way, I'm sick of the defeats being really narrow. Its tiring being "in the game" desperately hoping we'll nick a goal that inevitably never do. Part of me just want to be getting hammered 4-0 after half an hour so I can just switch it off and do something else. Can't bring myself to switch it off while we're in it, but deep down i know we'll never score.

Wasn't a penalty on Alonso like and no one can ever convince it was, he got the ball. I'm adamant about that. Fernandez gave up that game too and he's been taken to alright now. Plus Lejeune gave away a stupid penalty that cost us early on last season too and it ended up okay after we persevered with him, because it was clear he was a good footballer. I think Schar is too and I don't see the current pairing or Clark doing much that means we have to do without someone good on the ball.

I mean, if our defenders are bad on the ball, I'd consider using that one who's good on the ball to fix the issue, but that's just me. Unfortunately Schar seems to be outcast before he's even kicked a ball.
