Makes the decision even more ridiculous, that they don't have anyone in the wings to come in straight away. Mancini was literally the only decent option available. Will be very interesting to see who they get now.

Matt Ritchie (now playing for Portsmouth)
Figures 1-0 Football replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
According .com Ritchie will only be banned for one match, not two, if he picks up another yellow. Is that correct? -
Redknapp on BT was scathing about it. He called it a terrible tackle aye, as everyone has, because it clearly is and there is no defense for it. However, that's it. Nobody has mentioned his previous disciplinary problems, the fact that he can be a loose cannon and the fact that he's a bt of a w***** really. Costa gets sent off for pinching someones arse and they'd run a 30 minute session on MNF about how horrible he is. Na. There's been loads of coverage about him being a bit of a s*** and having a nasty temperament. Was an article in one of the nationals this morning about it. Got a link to that? All I can find is articles about how Alli needs to keep his 'mean streak' and channel it into scoring goals.

0 league goals in 2017 is not managing it, everyone below them is showing something while their form is as bad as it gets. Aye, they are even worse than sunderland by a good distance at the moment. They've played only two home league games in 2017 which were against the two most in-form sides in the league (Chelsea and Man Utd). They'll score goals and win games at home which will keep them up (similar to Burnley). If anyone around the bottom went through a phase of 4 away matches & 2 home games against two of the best sides in the league, they'd be out of form too. Like Hull have...... Hul's run of decent form started with a home game against Bournemouth, something I've just pointed out Leicester haven't had - an easy(ish) game at home. As I said earlier, which you cant comprehend. Their home form will keep them up, they have a good run of home games coming up before the end of the season that would have kept them up comfortably with Ranieri in charge.

The expectations from the club in their own statement announcing the sacking was to survive relegation, they are just about managing that at present - don't see what he's done wrong personally. If anyone deserves any sort of chance to finish the season, it's him.

Imagine the uproar if Mitro/Costa/Suarez did that man. Little Dele gets away without a media shitstorm because he's not that sort of player usually, despite a lot of past incidents suggesting otherwise. Hang the little scrote from his balls outside Buckingham Palace for 14 days and 14 nights.

Krul seems to have benefitted from the situation where players are massively overrated while out with long term injuries. People have almost forgotten the last 12 months where he featured for us he was absolutely gash. He's still probably our best keeper (just), but that doesn't say much at all.

Disgraceful from Alli
-
What a truly horrific list of possible replacements.

A strange part in the Leicester statement says... "and preparations for our game against Liverpool on Monday will resume on Saturday". I can understand the players having today off, but very bizarre for them to be off tomorrow too and just waste a day?

Confirmed by Leicester.

Please be Pardew, he'd take them down.
-
Would rather get Gray if they came down instead of Townsend. He's class. We should've been in for him before he went to Leicester. We were linked IIRC

The pundits and commentators are making it sound like they've just won 3-0 They'll lose the second leg.

Newcastle United v Bristol City - 25/02/17 @ 3:00pm (no TV)

It would be welcome but i'd take just being able to relax and not be close to cardiac arrest during the last 10 mins of every single f***ing game I couldn't have been more relaxed on Tuesday, like. Could still be playing now and Villa wouldn't have scored. -
If you knew the sort of people who come from 'Monsell' in Leicester, you'd quickly realise why they are unable to function in daily life never mind try to write something correctly for a flag.

Should be beating these comfortably at home. But I also said that about Blackburn. -
Don't think there is a great deal of difference between him and Colback in terms of quality and level - but Dummett is a pashunnnn filled Geordie boy whereas Colback is a dirty ex-mackem 3-0 so one gets away with it rather than the other. I'm not referring to their form as Colback is undoubtedly in awful form, whereas Dummett is playing better at the moment. I'm talking about their level in general. Had some good games this season aye, but he's also been ripped apart just as many times. He cant deal with a diagonal ball over the top, which teams often try to capatalise on (Forest away and yesterday for examples). Good enough at this level, but needs upgrading on should we go up. Maybe a unpopular opinion but meh, that's what forums are for. I await the abuse. Sorry Ronaldo, I know you'll take this especially badly, I look forward to your upcoming insult.

When you aren't playing well or a striker out of goal scoring form you concentrate on sacrificing yourself for the team. He becomes an intergral part in build up play and goals go in around him. All he needs is a couple of games with back to back goals and he'll be away. I can certainly see what he's trying to achieve. Spot on.

Mind, an EasyJet cabin worker got fired for eating a bacon sandwich. Hospital porter got sacked for a egg(?) sandwich recently too. #foodgate

Couldn't agree more with this.

Conflict of interest though. Aye but the only persons interest it conflicts is Sun bets, they are the only ones losing out and have blatantly have done this as a publicity stunt and banked on losing money for the greater gain of more subscibers The amount they 'lose' through the winning bets is much, much cheaper than any sort of advertising campaign that would get the same coverage. Win-win for them. Cant believe how thick the bloke is for basically admitting the whole thing.
