Clearly has no future at this club, when an unfit Dwight Gayle is beating him to the bench. A shame but he’s had his chances and managed to fuck up each and every one of them.

Interesting to see how Slow Mo gets on, but I have little confidence -

Looking at that lineup, I’d snap your hand off for 0-0. -

no Merino or Mitro -
Christian Purslow (ex Liverpool or Chelsea MD) discussing our takeover on SSN. Nothing new really other than the last point; - Ashley in a precarious position because Rafa is key to the sale, any new owner will want Rafa and Ashley needs to keep him onside until sale concluded. - Strange to go public to sale but Ashley aware the club is at its highest value, quick deal benefits nobody but Ashley. - HMRC issues could complicate things and selling NUFC in 6 weeks is ‘extraordinarily unlikely’ (to meet the Christmas deadline).

Saivet has travelled with the squad, wonder who is out injured then. -

Aye, first 30 minutes is usually analysing something from over the weekend - the latter 30 will be about our game. -

Mag in work? Start a thread. -
To be fair, he took a job on that nobody else wanted. Who else would take the job at the moment and do any better than he is? It’d be a very, very short list. Come to sunderland and work on a low salary with a transfer budget of £0, mountains of debt, an unhappy fanbase and uncertainty around the owner. Obviously people like Klopp, Rafa, Mourinho etc. would be doing better - but none of them would take the job so it’s irrelevant to compare him to them.

I’d probably play Mitro because he has a better partnership with Perez, who seems to play better alongside Mitro than Joselu. Mitro and Joselu are virtually the same player, offering exactly the same but one with more risk than the other. -

I love looking forward to our matches again, rather than dreading them. -
On the basis that good Championship players seem to be moving for £10m-£15m these days, £50m would get them what, 4 players? Their team needs a hell of a lot more than 4 players to be anywhere near the playoffs.

Everton will be fine because they’ll spend in January and bring in a relatively decent manager, there are also much worse teams than them in the league. Would still be absolutely hilarious if they did go down, same as Palace.
-
Everton could play another 90 minutes against Leicester’s U12s and I still dont think they’d score.
-
Maybe they’re doing so well because Messi can be the main man and not in Neymar’s shadow.
-
Lennon their best threat hauled off Fucking hell.
-
Every time I’ve seen Davies and Calvert-Lewin, they’ve been absolutely shocking - but they always seem to play.
-
Not sure anyone does, to be honest.
-
Unsworth making a great statement to get the job
-
No idea what he thinks he has seen there, Fuchs was not even close to touching the ball and clearly brought down Lennon.
-
Wish the FA would find a reason to ban them hideous clappers.
-
3/1 is a big price when you consider he’ll haul Vardy down at least 5 times today.
-
Strange that Puel has dropped Albrighton to play Chilwell (who is usually a LB).
