Interesting to know how many players should have seen red during that time too. Obviously Cabaye at the weekend being 1.

PaddyPower have us at 11/10 for a top 10 finish and 20/1 for a top 6 finish. Good value with both of them, particularly if we are taken over pre-January.

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Frank in at Tottenham
Figures 1-0 Football replied to cp40's topic in Football
To be fair, The quotes I saw said he'd be happy to manage in any league if they had a good philosophy Obviously none of the thousands of clubs in England and abroad that have had a vacancy in the past 24 months have a good philosophy. -

I see Giggs has decided that Everton and Leicester are two jobs that he’s happy to handpick himself for. Utter tosser unwilling to start anywhere other than a high profile PL job. Twat. -

Great news for us if that’s true. -
Kim Jong-un.

Douglas probably right to point out that we’ve had a good start but from our 9 games, we’ve only played 3 teams who finished in the top half last season. Tougher times to come and it’ll be interesting to see how we manage those games.

Last minute equaliser at home (1-1). He was anonymous in the away game though, defended out of it. -

The sort of game where we should be targetting 3 points if we want to remain in the top half. Wouldn’t be too upset with a draw, but would think that we should have enough to win this. -
PCP sent a representative to the Palace game.

I was just thinking that at 1-1, 9/1 seems a huge price for the home team - no matter who they are playing. Obviously didn’t back it though. Typical.

Crazy, especially if they will replace him at the end of the year anyway. They’re effectively just writing off the whole season as they are going nowhere under him. -
91st minute equaliser I didn’t cash out, as I never do - I don’t believe in it.

1-0 now mind

Thought that Hoffenheim were well over priced today away at Wolfsburg (2/1), backed them. 0-0 at 70 minutes though.

Think Hughes has got a few games in him yet tbh, Koeman and Bilic i wouldn't be surprised if both go before their next games. This. Will be interesting to see who they bring in though, Ancelotti, Pellegrini (and maybe Tuchel) really the only decent managers available. -
Who makes the signings at Liverpool? They seem to always make weird signings.

There is something really satisfying about Liverpool not doing well.

Norwich seem to have come from nowhere to occupy a playoff spot. Last I saw they were doing dreadful; the only team the mackems have beat.

All of Palace’s next 10 games (aside from Tottenham) are games that they’ll consider easily winnable like. If they are still in the relegation zone after those 10, they’ll go down.

I don't think he's overrated, he's just young (for a keeper) and still has a lot to learn, but for his age he has a lot of potential. He’s a year younger than Butland and nowhere near his level. That just means Butland has more potential, and Butland is a very good keeper, my point is that he's young, and you can see that he could turn into an England number 1. He’s talked about by the media as if he’s the next coming of Buffon, hence why I said he’s overrated. No idea how or why Hart still gets a game for England with Pickford and Butland around though.
