Our 'captain' has been a liability for a couple of seasons now, really sad to see as he was an excellent defender in his day. Giving him a new contract was one of the worst pieces of transfer business this club as ever done imho, and that's saying something. Was a penalty for me, but never a red. Saw him and his girlfriend in Sainsbury's earlier and was shocked at how scrawny he was, little wonder he gets bullied on the pitch. I've watched the tackle a few times and it's not great mind. Misses him with his right leg then brings his left leg through with force which catches Shaw's standing leg. Bad tackle which could have been avoided IMHO.
