Still time to come good. I'm unimpressed so far don't think he has much more potential to live up to. A waste of a signing.

Its amazing we have as many points as we do, our total lack of quality means games like this are rarely gonna go our way. -

Manquillo is turgid. If Yedlin could cross properly we might be dangerous -
Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

Daft Question Time :- If you read her wiki page, it states that she was part of the team (pcp partners) that did the Man City deal etc etc. So - is she buying for herself ? or on behalf of 'interested' parties ? And if Ashley did sell, we would then know who the 'real' owners were ? It's just never been made clear. I wondering wether the purpose of Amanda's company PCP Capital partners is for acquiring a football club. It's her financial advisory firm. Apparently was involved in the Man City takeover and also the Barclays bank bailout so not just to buy a football club. Just a thought/more wild speculation -

Very interesting indeed. The article mentions Sheikh Al Maktoum & Dubai Investment Capital (DIC) also while trying to arrange a deal for Liverpool "Staveley did meet Hicks in 2007 at a pheasant shoot in Yorkshire". What were those royal jets supposedly here for! The concern we all have is that the deal will fall apart because of mike's attitude, words like brash & obstructive (Ashley's M.O.) are used in regards to Hicks & Gillett which is why the bid fell apart, word then got round the very close middle East circles that any business was impossible.

What's Tranquillo Barnetta up to these days?

turns out he's s**** Mike isn't selling up, he's getting Rafa to keep him injury free so he can sell for a profit in January. -

Looks like the Chinese interest is over, either the U.S.A or the Middle East.

The derogatory terms used in regards to Amanda Staveley are beyond a joke. Just because there is a prospective female buyer there is no need for the slobbering smutfest, when it's being said on forums & social media it doesn't mean it's any less degrading, in fact it makes it worse.

Finally we get to the truth. Before Amanda turned up at SJP all anyone was talking about was her Barclay's lawsuit.

There's an article in the FT on Amanda Staveley & NUFC (I can't link the whole thing so here's a teaser)

Is St. James' Holdings not a privately held subsidiary of MASH? No idea. I just thought this change was of significant importance for selling the club. If anyone has a more informed opinion feel free to correct me.
-
Very significant part of the statement is that The owner of the club is St. James Holdings Limited. I'm pretty sure this company was only used for buying Newcastle United (& potential selling it). Thereafter the ownership was moved to mash holding.

Officially up for sale, gone by Christmas. I could cry tears of joy & I think I will. The news we have all longed to hear.

Depends on who is running our club (please god not mike)
