In the early 00s we used the prem font in europe, its just they didn't contain the prem logo on them ? However that was 20 years ago so God knows.... Didn't someone say on here a few weeks/months ago that their mate works in the club shop and he has it on good authority that they're releasing a "CL Jersey" or did I dream that? Lol

Well get the season up and running 3-1

Was at the seaside today with the wife and kid so didn't watch it thank fuck When the fixture list came out at the start of the season I had us on 3 points after 4 games, I thought we'd draw way villa, Liverpool and Brighton and loose to city lol... I do think last season got people a bit silly tbh, when it comes to expectations, people are entitled to get excited and dream big, of course.... the confidence going into the city and Liverpool game did shock me and then the negativity after the games where a bit OTT.... I know we did throw the Liverpool game away, but tbh where no where near them yet in reality, im aware we finished above Liverpool last season but there still miles ahead of us..... I think we'll be OK in all honesty, in fact I think we'll be better than OK I am certain we will finish in the top 6.... The international break is coming at the right time for us, howe will have a whole week to go back to the drawing board and try and sort it out, plus the next 6 league fixtures after the break are all very winnable... so try and stay positive please, and any one questioning eddies future needs to get a grip ?

Tbf I think there's some sizing difference tbh last year I got a xxl in the home and it fitted like a glove, got the same size in this years home and it was a bit big..... surely now though the current stock is gonna be heavily reduced..... no way people will pay full price knowing that they'll will be a change in manufacture next season ?

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
GavMcEl replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
Delighted with the draw tbh.... This day 2 years ago, if someone told us we'd be playing psg, milan and dortmund in the CL we would of got them sectioned... this is were we are now playing with the big boys !!!! And ye know what, well give them all a game at home in particular, just fuming that I'll not get tickets lol -
That's the sickest I've felt after a game of football in a long long time, just off the top of my head the last time i felt like this was when adam Johnson scored the winner against us for the mackems just before Christmas 2014....I genuinely feel like I need to cry honestly, was inevitable that they would get the equaliser, we squandered far to many chances... but did not see them leaving with all 3 points..... over the last 3 years I have tried so hard to remove all elements of bad feelings and hate from my life for various personal reasons, I can honestly say hand on heart that I dont hate any one or anything, buy I have to admit Liverpool and klopp come very close

Once away to arsenal in the league cup,
-
Have to agree tbh.... the away and 3rd kits for 06/07 season were a thing of beauty, loved the 07/08 3rd kit, the white one with the blue stripes... think it was only worn once away to arsenal in the league cup, the 3rd the Year after, the grey/silver one wasn't worn in a competitive match at all but that was class to imo
-
Delighted adidas is coming back tbh, as someone said earlier, adidas and Newcastle just go so we'll together.... hope to God they follow suit what they've done for arsenal and man utd and re issue old jerseys/training gear from the 90s

Been contemplating purchasing the 99/01 home from one of these sutes (with the brown ale sponsor) but I don't know if its just me or if it looks fake like the collar looks thinner and the sleeves look too short or something lol... the 97/99 one looms really bad tbh, the collar is to thin and the gold in the Adidas stripes is far to bright
