  1. Haidara and Thauvin, not found a way yet. Janmaat and Thauvin seemed to mesh striaght away (though lesser opposition).
  2. Well in Moussa...crowd are starting to get anxious. Not good.
  3. TWo great moves from Arsenal. Worked Krul... we need a bit of possession.
  4. Sounds like good atmosphere, need a chance or two to keep it going now...
  5. See that leap from Mbemba, to block cross...'Billy the Fish'
  6. Anita and Colback really pushing up, Wijnaldum great tracking back. Fluid, promising!
  7. Mitro interview, English quite good. "I'm ready, trust me..." [for the roar and how the fans will treat him]. C'mon killer!
  8. http://www.gettyimages.dk/detail/news-photo/florian-thauvin-of-newcastle-united-arrives-in-a-tuxedo-for-news-photo/485679740
  9. Would only really mean anything if these two sets of players had played each other 10 times.
  10. World would be a nicer place with a bit more optimism, Mr Pres. Especially given the time spent in anticipation of events is nearly always much longer than the time the events take. Must have been a hellish long flight though? (Only kidding).
  11. Sounds like horseshit to me. I have heard though, that Selhurst Park is now known as a "Pard-Venue", I.e. home to a "an obscure person who has made a great fortune" (aka 'Parvenu'). However, maybe a bit of sympathy is due here, as he's clearly suffering from chronic N.S-A.D (Narcissistic Self-Aggrandizement Disorder). Produces disabling symptoms of swollen head, swaggering gait, excessive gas, motor mouthed raving, and pretension. Tragic... for Palace fans I mean.
  12. Feel the same mate. Hope a positive team selection keeps the enthusiasm going; even if it looks a bit defensive in a 'the house praises the builder' way, I suspect I'll stay excited for as long as it doesn't evolve into a spanking. Love the thought of our fans/toonmates around the world perching on sofas --in various states of sleep deprivation--hopefully with beer in hand as many will have here around the UK. Here's to the international brotherhood ?
  13. There's a new thread emerging here, midfield stars/or even performances you've particularly 'enjoyed'. Whilst I liked Roy Aitken, and Kevin Brock in the main, those two and Billy Askew against the Makems at St James' 1990 was a particular highlight for me.... only eclipsed by our own fans incompetence: invading the pitch and snapping a crossbar, when the game was already lost.
