I have a take on the transfer fees, and the amounts. It's the wages, now if you ignore Tottenham who are a basket case. The other five pay wages we simply can't, that hamstrings us so much, just as the shitty rules are shaped to do just that. We have to be better in recruitment, Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton etc, we need to look at those models and get our scouting right. I can't dispute the disappointment of our buys this season, Thiaw aside, and i would argue Ramsey who's starting to show what he can be. Again those rules mean we can't have a misstep in transfers, yet the shitty so called elite clubs can. There is something twisted where Man Utd have over a billion of debt and we have none, and blah blah blah, you know how that is. Eddie must be better, the recruitment must better, get the stadium in progress, get things done instead of talking. And aye apart from the fifth placed anomaly season of Ben Arfa, Cisse, Ba and Dreamboat where most of us got sucked in, no one was or should ever have been happy with the Ashley reign, and the nonsense he kept the club from financial ruin. Burn had a stinker the other night imo, would have preferred Botman and Thiaw myself. I think looking at Everton's corner routines, that has given Burn the edge for today.
