Our refs, on the pitch and in the VAR room, same refs basically. Are truly appalling at their job, they're so bad it's on another level, just appalling standards not fitting of the game they supervise, and ruin.

How the feck is that just a yellow, ridiculous yet again.
-
Just one feckin win would have been enough.
-
Bruno wanted the pass, and looks like he gave Joe a bollocking for shooting, Joe reacted to it.
-
Yes, needs a lot draws though.

Untidy 2nd half. Good win. Job done.

Where's this been all season, what brilliant football, we've been so good.
-
That's a ludicrous decision, nowt to do with VAR that. Simply a terrible refereeing decision.

How very dare you, how can you not recall us beating Manure 0-3 at their shitheap, his first game for yonks as well. Him and Paul Dummett, what CB paring they made on the day.

Now you know why Eddie keeps certain players around, it's about the collective, the good characters, the professionals. Ones who teach others what this club is. Not a bunch of mercenaries, players who are for the wage and not for us.

I'm obviously a Eddie in, and I'm certain he'll go away review this season and adapt, and we'll see the benefits of it next season. However, that is a flaw in him, he fails to adapt during the season, i suppose that's a man true to what he's trying to do, but is does show a lack of adaptability in the moments. I think we a have great manager who will learn, but can only learn at the end of a season, he doesn't think that's should happen during it, because he prepared the way he sees it and expects the players to implement his tactics correctly. I hope I'm right, if not i don't think it'll be long into next season before he'll be sacked, very quickly imo if we start poorly. I do have a nagging doubt, and it's the defending. Get a very good GK and another CB, that should be OK, as i think both our GK's don't fill their defenders full of confidence. I'm not that worried about the goals, and the lack of creativity. I can see that getting addressed with some smart buys, and the tactical change i expect him to make. If, buts and maybes, it wouldn't be us if it wasn't.

That's football mate, people see it differently, i guess it's a low bar but i thought we played very well once we made changes. Still not good enough obviously, and this squad does need a serious overhaul. By the way 4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1 imo, it essentially the same thing, people will argue about how high the wingers are or how deep the CM's are, but i think both formations look the same when you see them set up. And like you i do wish we would play the double pivot ongoing, but not sure Eddie will go for it, hope he does.

Funnily enough i do know how a 10 really plays, and i still think big Nick.W is, and will be the best player for it. However, we were a far better side once he came off. I could say in the way you did, have you any clue when a player is playing well or not ? But i won't because that would be petty, and as i stated big Nick.W needs game time as our 10, if we are going to play this way going forward, and i hope we do, as i would like to see him in the role. Oh yeah, i wasn't disappointed either, i mean we played so much better once the changes were made, still give up the three points again, so really it does negate the positivity the second half provided some what.
-
Oh ffs, had to be didn't it. We should have buried the game a longtime ago.
-
Christ this ref is abysmal
-
Talking about the amount of misplaced passes, the amount of times he lost possession unaware of what's around him, and earlier in the thread i said hopefully it's a lack of game time. I like Big Nick.W, as i like the 4-4-1-1 which would suit him, and i hope with stick with it and him, and give him time to get back into form from playing time. Although as you put it, i won't complain if we play shit if we take him off.
-
We're defo set up 4-4-1-1/4-4-2. Much better but a lot of it has broken down when it's got to Nick.W, he's having a mare, but the set up is fairly good.
-
Big Nick Wolt seems oblivious of players challenging him, lack of game time i hope.

That save was rather special.

Stupid foul that.
