  1. Aye, especially our Captain as others have pointed out. I cannot believe how only a year or so ago, I would have been happy if we sold him he was dump at times last season He has been fantastic since we came up, just shows you how some players can be suited to certain leagues etc. Wouldn't sell him for all the jaffa cakes in the world. Arguably better suited to the PL, he just has to step forward and head it away. No onus on him to play with it too much. Aye but he just looks so good, so suited to it, well until he makes a mistake and he gets it on here
  2. Not having a go at you but i fucking hate that sort of sentence. Pointing out a flaw or a poor decision as all managers will do is not turning on him ffs. Sorry bit of rant like. But there can a middle ground where you love and know how good Rafa is, but still be able to be frustrated with him now and again. It's absolutely ridiculous how pretentious people get over criticism. There's also ridiculous shit on top of it that people come out with e.g. 'If Pardew did that' horseshit. I'd hazard a guess that that's Chicane's on about and not just blanket criticism. I suppose people say that because that's so fresh in the memory, devils advocate like.

I get that, but a few people on here over the last few days and even at half time today people seem to be taking pride in the fact that Rafa was doing poorly, and they seem to come from people who are either new or only appear to show up when we are losing or on a bad run. Surprised we have seen Chris Baba yet. Ones who take pride in that are mad, i think the word is frustrating with Rafa. You compare that to hate with Pardew, Clueless with Steve McClaren and lasagne with Carver. I'll take frustrating as i know it''ll be OK in the end (if he's backed by the new owners).

  6. Remind him about Joselu then Aye but with all true geniuses come flaws, at the moment Joselu seems to be a bit of a flaw like.

  8. Yet 5 games or so ago he wasn't and he was saving us goals. Maybe he's part of the poor form of the team, that and himself playing poorly as well.
  9. Now this i love about Rafa, he'll be utterly fuming despite us fighting back to get us a point. For him it won't be good enough, he'll always want more.

    Rolando Aarons

Strange opinion, that Shelvey is a better passer but Aarons has the best touch and control etc. Merino, Shirley ?
  11. What? I get that he may not be someone's cup of tea in open play, but that's just wrong. Aye it's lucky he didn't the corner for our first goal like.
  12. Start at Chelsea, never see the ball and get called shit. Could have played against Burnley, Bournemouth or Watford. Poor him. Mind you, if he does start he has to see Chelsea as game to prove Rafa wrong and give it everything.
  13. Opposition gets a more defensive shape to protect their lead, allowing us more space to be attacking? Aye i did say that in a later post, i think it's more the urgency we show, OK we're suddenly behind but it shouldn't take that to get us going.
  14. Poor run of form, still an excellent player coming through. No doubts despite the last few games.
  15. Aye, he was awful. The Mbemba one I've watched over and over. The lino is 5 yards away and still gives a free kick, when it was as clear a dive as you'll ever see.
  16. Weak as piss and the first touch of 1970's TV presenter.
  17. As people were saying Robson-Kanu dived all game, utterly embarrassing. Hope Mitro tears his throat out Road house style.
  18. Confidence innit. Grabbed a goal out of nothing and suddenly you're up again. Not how it should work but football is about the most confidence-based sport on the planet. Why do we gain confidence when we go behind though, we're so confusing as a team like We only really gained confidence after the first goal. Well i'm kinda basing on a few games this season, we come on strong and seem to play better when it gets desperate. Granted to oppo are probably sitting back like.

  20. Yeah fuck you Pardew, you keep that record run of defeats you utter minge crab.
  21. Why the fuck do we suddenly play good attacking football when we go behind, why the fuck can't we do it from the start. So frustrating.
