Thinking a player is good, doesn't mean we shouldn't replace them, but in the case of Pope he's 33, he's still a very good GK, and in my opinion he's doesn't need replacing yet. However if a clearly better GK came up, then yes buy him, that's football isn't it ?

Alisson is the best in the world for me. City's overall play means the GK has to play with their feet. And Arsenal, well their GK playing with his feet cost them in the semi final of the League Cup to us. I think it's an overblown skill for a GK in the Premier League, but that's my opinion. And, every GK makes mistakes, even the best. And, as far as i recall Pope didn't make more than most. Unless we can secure a world class GK, it's not a position i think we need to worry about during this period of having the get the buys right due to PSR.
