Rather eloquently put, some i agree with, some i do not. I won't go point by point, but as i said, very eloquently put. Now for something more baffling to me. The bolded sections, who are saying that to? Certainly not me i've never said that about big Joe (although i've no doubt something might have been said in the past when he has missed an opportunity or two, but that's human nature to react to what you see, but since his switch to central midfield he's been immense. And I have never said you've underrated a solid player, or would try to or was going to. That's some grade A over boarding there don't you think ? Love your passion, we need more of it.

Wanna wake tomorrow, potter about for a bit and then when i sit down to watch the footy, news in that Guehi is not in the Palace squad, because he's on his way to us for a medical.
-
It is if it's done in an aggressive manner. I would say both of them were doing it and one then play acting to get the other sent off, which is why it should have been yellows for both now i've seen multiple replays. There's no real violent actions or much aggression, no real pushing of the heads from either of them.

Honestly I'm not sure what others see, i watched him chase the ball most of the game. Weird how people see things differently from the same game.
-
Who else would you have sold, the club clearly didn't want to sell Minteh or Anderson for that matter. You're blaming the club for rules in place to help a corrupt league protect 6 greedy scumbag clubs. Aye, we should or could have made better decisions in hindsight the previous 3 years, but i bet we wouldn't be the side we are now.

Tricky game, need to match their energy and control the game better, something we didn't do last season.
-
What is wrong with you ?
-
It is, I'm assuming they haven't held his disciplinary hearing.
-
Because he's not been banned yet ?
-
VAR (John Brooks) don't think it was an attempt to win the ball, but he won the ball

That was a performance from two seasons ago. I also noticed Kelly when he came on, was very vocal, pulling players in positions, loved that.
-
That's very close to how it is, scarily close actually mate.
-
Dan Burn was immense as well, always in the right place.
-
See the last few minutes showed he wasn't, or he wouldn't have been given the fouls we got. He's just terrible, really terrible.
-
Brilliant defensive performance, as a former defender i loved that.
-
Too old mate, knees have had it.
-
That's true, but at the lowest level, you get verbal and physical abuse, and intimidation like you wouldn't believe. That's why decent refs don't come through, no one should have to face that for £35 a game. Plus the training is mental, with the rules changes that are just ridiculous. I left a long while ago, and it's way way worse now.
-
Aye, and that's the problem in the main actually, a lack of consistency.
-
Brilliant ain't it

Refs don't make the laws, they just apply them. Yes refs can be poor, and interpret the rules in a strange way, but no ref goes out to be poor, they just are through lack of ability like this clown.
-
Thanks mate, i like to do my part.
-
I used to referee, and it's in the laws. Just putting your head there in an aggressive manner is enough, which ever way you cut it he did that. It's not fair, and you're correct Diaz was the initial aggressor, but as happens in these things, he got Fab to give him the chance play act. The retaliation was not really much, but what it was, was enough. Mate i agree with most of your view, but a red unfortunately it was as the Laws are.
-
3 times now Hall has done that, get your head together lad.
-
How many fouls is Downes going to be allowed to get away with.
-
No, that's not accurate is it mate? If Schar doesn't go head to head there's no decision to make. It's not a violent headbutt, but he put his head there no matter how much we try to excuse it.
