I'm baffled as to why Rafa left Jamaal out for the Southampton and Norwich games for Taylor after Jamaal played so well against Sunderland, still can't get my head around it.

True but it's never been implemented as it's written. There are so many given when a player can't get his hand out of the way when the ball is hit from close range. It'll never be good enough whatever rules are followed imo. Like so many things it's a ref opinion thing, in the split second he gets to see it from whatever angle he has at the time.

Vurn's been brilliant at RB btw, a big part of our defensive improvement, not to mention he's been pinging in some decent crosses. While true, jumping with your hand in the air and touching the ball will always be given as a pen. The deliberate thing, i think 75% of penalties given aren't deliberate, for me the wording is wrong. Should be gaining an advantage or stopping an opponent from receiving the ball, something along those lines. It'll never be right whatever you do, the ref will always call it as he sees it, and different refs will see thing differently, human factor i suppose.

Mike Dean's always desperate to give them just like in the Man Utd game earlier in the season. Fwiw I didn't think it hit Sissoko's hand but was hard to see on the camera angles given, probably get a closer look on MOTD tonight. Fwiw, it clips his hand on the replays i've seen.

It's a stonewaller, Sissoko has his hand above his head, it clips his hand before Dann heads it. The ref got it 100% right unfortunately for us, Sissoko is utterly brainless at times.
