  1. That is the big thing, i think we'll throw whatever Rafa wants at him, money, control, transfers, the whole shebang. It really is down to whether Rafa fancies it or not.

    Lee Charnley

I thought that too. They wouldn't be releasing a statement now if there was going to be one coming saying Rafa is staying. They released a statement because we are relegated. He'll stay if we offer him full control of football matters. It's as simple as that. It's as simple as that? Surely you don't really believe that? I really do. Ashley is a thin skinned fatty who doesn't like too much attention. He'll give Benitez whatever he wants to keep him here if he has any hope of getting back into the premier. What are the alternatives? Steve Bruce? Neil fucking Warnock? Aye. For a fraction of the price too. I actually think the money side of it isn't a big of an issue as it was before. It's their lack of brains that worry me more now.
  3. The perfect way to quell unrest is to get Rafa sorted for next season now, cynical i know but it would go along way to ease fears. Getting it done and putting it of the front page of the match programme for Sunday would be clever. Of course we won't as we are too stupid of a club to do that.
  4. Me too but tbf it should say Ashley not Charnley, he should be gone anyway. Oh definitely, but if Ashley isn't going Charnely has to, whether he gets Rafa to stay or not imo.
  5. They're going to announce him manager for next season before the game Sunday....
  6. Where's a precision guided missile when you need one.
  7. "Faac! I play for Bologna!" I like that, nice shirt.
  8. West Ham fans are total knackers, aggressive budweiser bottle/pint of Fosters drinking louts with no reedeming features whatsoever, and that's just the girlfriends.
  9. That's the very reason we've had countless trouble since Ashley bought us. The most important person at any club should always be the manager.
  10. Not if Arsenal lose to Man City today and Man Utd don't win both their games. Just Man City winning should be enough for Spurs to finish 2nd. True, I wasnt aware Spurs' GD was so much better. That said if Man City win today they'll be within range of Spurs' GD with a good win in their last game Yeah it's about 8 difference now, although it would need us to beat Tottenham by at least 2 or 3....that's why i'm fairly confident Spurs will be 2nd if Arsenal lose today Man City 2-0 Arsenal Newcastle 1-0 Tottenham Swansea 0-5 Man City Oh yeah, that's very possible. Although i fear if we're already down we'll roll over and get beat 2 or 3.

  12. Long would be perfect for Rafa's loan mobile striker role, works hard, runs the channels, pacey and an eye for goal.
  13. Everton look like a team who aren't playing for their manager, they just look done.

  15. Absolutely right, actually think Mitro might be ok with the Championship playing for Serbia. Although there are no International finals at the end of next season, that might sway a few to give it a season to get back up, unlikely i know but it might help with Mitro and Townsend especially.
  16. Another Pardew masterstroke, his choice.
  17. True but he's not Rafa's type of lone striker, well that's if Rafa stays of course. Rafa is rather rigid with his 4-2-3-1 with a mobile striker up top.
