  1. Gullible and thick would be my guess.
  2. Hope we keep him, made a poor team selection against Norwich like, mind you he's picking from a barrel of shit though.
  3. Correct, he has no brain for starters. Townsend made him look like fucking Einstein today. Is it me or do we seem to have the thickest players in the Premiership. The amount of free kicks we give away with dumb tackles in dangerous areas are ridiculous, and lazy passes and flicks you wouldn't see on a Sunday park at times. We're going own because we're awful and have been for a long while now.
  4. He wont be staying. Well we did think about him coming in the first place, let me dream please Don't torture yourself man. Go back to dreaming of big asses suffocating you. Stop...

  6. Shit gutless fuckers, Mitrovic aside. Clear em out and let Rafa build from scratch.
  7. We're crap, it's that simple. Every team bar Villa have fight (maybe not smugfaces team now as well), we are just gutless.
  8. Of course not but when you do stop, if that person continues to throw that help back in your face. I guess each individual has their limit to what they can take. As with everything there are some complete over reactions. If you think he's to blame, partly or wholly you a unsympathetic, heartless pile of unfeeling snot. If you think it's not his fault at all, you're a soft shite who thinks Hitler was only misguided. It's not as clear cut as that obviously, unfortunately sometimes with a blog/online forum like this people tend to jump on each other. Blurs the discussion in the end. I know i've had enough of lies, violence, seeing someone so drunk it's amazing they're still alive and knowing they'll drive their kids to school the next day. Hearing bullshit as to why they have a black eye or have no money and need to borrow some to feed their kids. Even though you gave them money the previous day for the very same thing. No one will be right in this, or wrong for matter, it just becomes a vicious circle and never looks like it will ever end.
  9. Agree with that like, but if he doesn't face up to his part in it he'll have a ready made excuse. If people say to him it's never his fault, while marriage breakdown, loss of job (not being a footballer anymore) and other things happen that drive you to addiction. You simply can't say don't worry mate, you're not to blame in any way. His marriage for instance and hitting his wife, things happen that you are responsible for and must face up to, to understand your addiction and the causes of it, so you can start helping yourself along with other help to get yourself clean. You simply can't absorb him of blame. Absolve? Anyway, alcoholism has a > 60% relapse rate. You can bet your life that lots of those people understand addiction and causes behind it but will relapse anyway. The fact that he can't or hasn't solved it yet doesn't make him a responsibility dodging monster, it makes him actually completely normal (among alcoholics). It's a chronic problem that's not easy to solve, mostly due to factors they can't control, e.g. DNA predisposing them to addiction, troubled early and formative years leading them down a bad path. So I'm not entirely sure of what to blame him. Not solving an extraordinarily hard problem like alcoholism? Having bad genes and a shitty childhood? That said, it is also disheartening to see how unevenly second (and higher) chances - not just for alcoholism but for most things - get distributed in society. But I don't lay that at his feet and I won't be in the business of telling the people who help him they can't do what they want with their time/money. Just fucking tragic all around really. Aye sorry, that was it I'm going through a bit of this with my brother and his wife (which usually ends in violence between them or whoever they've crossed while drunk). You have sympathy but you run out after years of threats, assaults and ridiculous outbursts for no reason, you just get worn down by it all. You don't give up but you find it hard to show the love you have for them, you're just beaten down.
  10. That's actually the better end of the scale for ACL injury.
  11. Could be a factor but addiction to drink covers all kinds. While people talk of smoking bans, drugs and gambling. Drink is far more accessable to all ages and far more dangerous in that respect imo.

  13. Don't get this at all. He's battling a devastating addiction, through no fault of his own either. What difference does it make what support other people have or haven't had? Surely it has to be partly if not a fair chunk of his own fault.
  14. Unless they see Pearson as a better bet to bring them up, as he did with Leicester, once to the Championship from League One and then losing the play offs the following season, and obviously getting them to the Premier League in his second spell. Knows the league and all that.
  15. Well Darlow or Woodman whoever it is should be seeing this as their moment, their chance to keep us up. A players injury is anothers opportunity to become a hero for us.
  16. Stones looks like one of those graceful players who could play anywhere. Never know him to play in midfield so i think it's non starter. And surely it'll be Dier playing in front of the defence. Which would be our player in that position from this seasons form.
  17. I'd take Rose as 1st choice and Bertrand as 2nd if it was me. Baines is ok, not one of my favourites. Decent set pieces as we found out like.
  18. He didn't even lift his hands, the basic move of any GK
  19. Not sure but i reckon Roy wouldn't take two inexperienced players, it'll Baines as the experienced one and either Rose or Bertrand as the other. Rose would be ahead on Premier League form i should think.
  20. That's the thing though, Darlow whenever Forest were on was ropey as anything. Not to say he might grasp the chance. I mean Elliot has and surprised us all. I'm pretty sure no one thought Blob would be as good as he has, in fact he's kept us in games. Bournemouth away was three points Blob won us on his own basically. Blob has been pretty fucking shite, I am quite confident Darlow will not be any worse. Just because he is a decent shot stopper (all keepers are at this level are) and put in a few performances where he has made a string of good saves it doesn't make up for his total inability to command his box, unwillingness to come off his line, lack of pace and utter uselessness in one on one situations. He's fucking shit. Fair point, you forgot fat as well.
