Knockaert did nowt today Actually, he looked very good None of the Brighton players looked very good. I actually forgot Knockaert was playing until about 60 mins in. That's why I thought he looked good, was dangerous despite his team not playing very well. That parts fine though, doubt is normal & sensible. Everyone has opinions. The laughable part is when people come with complete self assurance in their own opinions, calling it a shit transfer & creating conspiracy theories about the managers involvement. You cant claim to trust the manager, then go about slating the transfer's he approves. Its a nonsensical position & everyone should have learnt not to write people off by now. Dave Whelan's defence that the thug got the ball was the most ludicrous statements i'd ever heard. Utterly wrong and shows just how thick people can be when they defend the indefensible. Rather we signed an actual pile of shit than that abortion of a thugballer.

You know that's not his way, he'll struggle in those "winable" games and get a couple of spawny wins against some top of the table clubs just to keep everyone thinking he's "turned a corner" I think this time is different, i have no real reason for thinking that other than hope and hatred mind. I'm fine with that, I want him to keep himself in a job long enough to burn the entire house down! He needs to go down in a blaze where there's no doubting it was all his fault. If he goes now everyone will be bleating about how he could have turned it round. That's the thing though, even though it'll be his fault they'll be no end of people defending him and saying it won't be. It's so frustrating to see it happen all the time

Their next few games are what you would call winnable, if he doesn't get any they're fucked. They'll be no 5/6 game winning streak to bail him out after those games imo.

Aye he didn't. It'll be interesting (for me anyhoo) to see how he does after his injury. Lots of potential there although that's been said of quite a few who've never fulfilled it.

Quality manager though

Well we reached 5th gear till about the 30th minute, then we sat back. The noise from the crowd was unbelievable. When my football career finishes, i'm going to get some of that. Finally after many years of struggling, us as a family are in a nice position financially. I have my own money to spend on what i want, and it'll be watching us.

I think Will Hughes of Derby is the best imo, but he's definitely up there if he can find consistency. Only watched him a few times but Hughes has never really impressed me that much tbh All about opinions i guess, he just seems to have something of quality about him imo.

Rafa said in his post match interview, signing him is for competition. Good enough for me.

Why do you dislike Brighton Ron, always seemed a harmelss club to me. FA Cup games with them plus what I've seen of them in the Championship in the last couple of years. Just an absolutely odious, cheating playing staff and I don't like their fans much either. I see, i tend to blame Pardew for the FA Cup shite. Tonight i can see what you mean about the cheating, they were diving about far too much. Must admit i didn't notice it as much watching them last season. I think this is where my liking of Hughton comes in, i really did like him when he was here. Kind of gave us back some dignity getting us up, and then treated like dirt to install a snake of a manager. Watching him manage a team made me like them a bit, it was the same with Birmingham and Norwich. Seeing Brighton as opponents now even with him as manager you take much more notice of the negatives, still don't dislike them if i'm honest.

Check your facts Fair enough I like the goals against column. It's been a long time since we conceded so few, ok it's the Championship but still. It's nice to see so few flying in. Aye, it feels weird to not have a feeling of shame when looking at the goal difference. To be honest I thought we had +12 goals, I read Barnsley's as ours by accident Matters not, we've just took our time to get going. Actually thought it should have been 3 or 4 tonight. If we can start finding the net regularly in away games, it'll take away the away day worries we've had for years now.
