  1. Munoz playing tonight for the stiffs.
  2. That's what i was getting at, he's done a fair job considering the mess they're in. That mess not actually the performances on the pitch, something isn't right in the club obviously.
  3. And yet he's only lost 1 league game in 14, strange old game innit. And like you, much happy we ended up Eddie like.
  4. Must say his previous defensive goals conceded worried me, but clearly he's gone away (visited A.Madrid and Simeone) and addressed that among other things. A manager who's not arrogant to learn and address his flaws (Bruce the counter example of utter arrogance to blame everything but himself and his flaws). While I know it's unlikely as it doesn't happen that often, I'd love him to be here for a long long time. I've not liked a manager as much as this for a long time (Rafa i loved, but it's not the same). Not since KK have I felt a confidence in a manager of ours. I've fell in love with us again, I was drifting away and thought it was gone.
  5. Sky interview after the game, he wasn't happy with how we used the ball, should have been better. Absolutely loved that, always wanting more.
  6. Burn had changed our centre back play, his voice and pulling everyone into positions is just brilliant.
  7. Annoyingly though our form will be because of the money and not Eddie, when the gulf in class and ability between our previous manager and our present one, is clear for even a blind man to see.
  8. Big Joel has been fantastic again, superb absolutely superb.
  9. Should have beat West Ham without him, Eddie has the team playing as a team. We no longer need to rely on that bit of magic to win a game now imo.
  10. Why an earth put Joelinton out left when he's been brilliant in the middle of the park, he should move nowhere. If it means Bruno still doesn't start, so be it. We've been playing well, winning and there's no need to disrupt the middle of park, usually where you win and lose games.
  11. Obviously not good enough, but by the same account needs games to settle down and follow the managers tactics and instructions. Hopefully we'll see some improvement as he will seemingly get a run in the side. That or Manquillo might not be out for too long, and would come in a right back.
  12. His short passing is some of the worst I've seen, so lazy and careless with it. Ran with the ball well, tracked back and defends OK. End of the day, not good enough in the long run.
  13. Shows what happens when you employ a good manager and not a buffoon.
  14. Brilliant result, while not something exciting i loved that performance.
  15. I'm not convinced myself, well if we do get a pasting the next selection will answer that question.
  16. Very true, but we have lost our spark, and our proper new leader. We'll miss them, but we are better organised. I also like the fact the pundits are completely writing us off, nowt to lose in my opinion.
  17. Not sure if anyone has commented, but no Lascelles is interesting, I'm pretty sure some thought Schar would be out for him. I like the way our manager isn't afraid to upset anyone, be that fans or players by not changing the team.
  18. I really hate West Ham as I'm surrounded by their neanderthal fans down here, but while it pains me to say it, Rice is very very good.
  19. I know, point still stands though. Murphy ahead of Almiron in a forward position of any kind is not good for Almiron.
  20. If Almiron can't in at left forward ahead of Murphy, he's done here. It might not be his best position, but i would have had him there instead.
  21. Personally I'd rather judge them on the nice to cunt scale, and Pardew makes it to full cunt.

    Dan Burn

A very very good performance from the big man.

    Kevin Keegan

KK's emotional response to things were his achellis heel, if you could put it like that. But that was also one of his main attributes. His passion, his love, his emotional ties to the club. Without any of that he wasn't who he was, and I'd rather have saw what we did than have not. He made us love football, love waiting for the next game. He was us in manager form imo.
  24. I see Southend United continue to improve, since Kevin Maher took over they've been flying along. Actually got a ticket to see them next Friday night, bet i jinx them
