Aye i agree with Pilko, he's just really started to become a really good player as he's maturing, absolutely the perfect age and ability to develop much more. Nowt wrong with this signing at all, if we sign him of course.

He's not the same player under Eddie, he works and ticks the ball along. There's a lot less daft glory balls, and if his work off the ball drops, he'll be dropped. He's fine in this squad under this manager, he's not a Bruno obviously, but for now as we build for the future he's a decent experienced player.

It's pretty simple really, our manager will give them the instructions within the overall structure and tactics. As the two players sitting in central midfield those instructions will be very in depth. You can call them pivots, double pivot or other assorted bollocks. They're central midfielders imo, who defend, attack when they can, build play and hold the team together. Our manager is clearly superb, and those instructions and tactics given will be something Bruce could only dream of giving out/or creating. Or i reckon we should have kept Bruce, aye that would be it
