How did palace throw this game away
-
The owners see this club as a long term project, Mourinho for all his success is a journeyman manager who doesn't do long term projects. Replacing Howe with him now seems at odds with everything the owners seem to be wanting to do.

That photo is creepy as fuck, though I did love the fact that they got Paqueta to wear a newcastle shirt, you just know Bruno's doing all he can to convince him to come join us
-
Imagine seeing this team for the first time and being told it was a relegation battling team at the start of the season, you'd not believe it
-
Brunooooooooooo
-
Combination of fat fingers, Fucking auto correct, and I don't read what I'm typing surprised i dont fuck up more of what i type
-
Ben white doesn't look comfortable with balls coming across, and Cedric their only other defender, hopefully Fraser and Murphy can pressure them more
-
Great vision from big Joe to drift out wide to pick that up. Great finish from Wilson as well
-
Think there was talk a while ago about around 60% of their team being asthmatic and requiring medicine to deal with it.
-
New boots, goal to break them in
-
Dubravka has kept us in this game
-
Was so much talk about how much we were allowed to spend and stay in FFP yet when we do it, we get told we're buying our way out of trouble, it's fucked
-
Studs up, uncontrolled leg, on the keeper, should be walking off the pitch and not for being subbed
-
Let everyone who talks about how much we've spent remember that even still we sub on Chris Wood while Liverpool can sub on Salah
-
Yeah the team that Klopp has built over the last few years is phenomenal, so well drilled in all areas of the field. VVD has to be the best defender the premiership has had, I can't think of any I'd rate higher then him
-
ASM isn't stopping running and half the time has arms all over him. Think he's having a good game
-
Not a game I expected to see us get anything from, but I'm still glad to see the level of effort the players are putting in. 12 months back we'd have not even shown up
-
Never a foul there unfortunately
-
Imagine Steve Bruce getting sacked here going to a new club and thinking that we'd trust him to be able to develop one of our promising youngsters still.
-
He's probably the most fortunate of all the players in our team for the takeover happening when it did. He came to us at a time when the lack of direction allowed him to be a maverick and showcase his natural talent, and then the takeover coming at a time where as the side improves in quality he has the chance to start playing at the level he would want to, as long as he can mature alongside the team. He has all the ability in the world, but next season is going to be the make or break for him at this club, and if he fails here, his chances of playing at a top level club will not come around again I don't think

2003 we beat spurs 4-0, Robert got a brace as did shearer, pretty sure this was when he scored his 100th goal for us Watching from half a world away I'd get to see highlights of shearers goals, but was never able to stay up to watch entire games. This was the first time I managed to get into the pub on a Saturday night being only 15, and watch a game live, and truly fell in love with the club. Though theres been better results over the years this one here always stands out to me.

Not at all, it's a cheap excuse not to give it to him, but I can see them making it to avoid providing recognition to him
-
As great as Howe has been, I can see it going to Moyes or even Conte this year over him, purely because they'll say we've spent money. Even if it is for the first time in years.

It's not that he's lacking athleticism, but it's easy to see why people would think that. It's just his reading of the game is so good he know where he needs to be at the right time without needing to make a massive sprint to get there most of the time. The fact that he was able to make that sprint after 94 minutes of football, dive and head the ball with near perfect technique to put it into the net as far as possible from the keepers reach shows just how athletic he really is when he needs to be though.
