You’re right pal. Without sounding too cliche, I don’t think he’s got the nasty streak in him to bully defenders and give it right back to them like other big man strikers in the modern game or from seasons gone.

I really thought his haircut was the turning point for an uptick in form. Maybe his headband has permanently squeezed the brain cells out his head.

He does need to be more aggressive with defenders. There was a duel with Konsa(?) in which he was easily brushed away.

It’s really baffling like. Presumably he was in a strong position to control our recruitment last summer, but seemingly has targeted players that aren’t plug-in-and play with our system. I actually think we were the team suited for Elanga’s style about 18 or so months back. Now teams let us have the ball and dig in.

We’re a top 10 side and nothing more. Our forward line is my biggest concern at the moment, we could have played that game for 24 hours and we wouldn’t have scored.
