Superbly gutsy performance tonight, every player put in a big shift, but thought Tonali, Burn and Gordon were the standout performers.

For me it’s something like: 1. Suarez 2. Rooney 3. Lewandowski 4. Aguero 5. Kane 6. Cavani 7. Benzema 8. Ronaldo Nazario 9. Haaland 10. Eto’o Probs a massive cop-out on my part not considering C. Ronaldo as a centre forward tbh. Ronaldo Nazario’s peak was arguably in the 90s, but had a few more wonderful goal-scoring in the early 2000s. Undoubtedly one of the most gifted players to ever grace a football pitch though. Falcao at his (too short a) prime is perhaps the best number 9 (apart from Ronaldo) I’ve ever seen. He was something else.

Quite a few thoughts on this, but surely Eto’o must be on this list!?
