Still no sign of the ‘imminent’ stadium feasibility report?
-
Rashford should have had two assists
-
Absolutely class challenge that.
-
Rashford needed a change of scenery, he’s so listless now.

Saudi window and Turkey still open a bit longer right? Hopefully we can sort a deal for either Dubravka or Vlachodimos to depart.
-
Go on then… Rate the summer 2025 Transfer window

3/10 Not really bothered about selling Minteh or Anderson, but our incomings have been vastly underwhelming. Lloyd Kelly is a good player at this level but it comes with the significant caveat of his injury record. A record I expect to not be aided with our esteemed history of treating injuries. Then we have a goalkeeper who can’t even be trusted to be a backup he’s seemingly that hopeless as part of a PSR fiddle. Pointless even discussing Ruddy. Finally we have signed a young lad as our third-choice striker who has no record of scoring goals. It’s been an awful window and if I’m honest I’ve lost a lot of faith in our scouting and recruitment team. I don’t understand how they can’t identify other talents away from the Premier League. -
Decent player, wouldn’t be opposed to it. But feels like a signing we’d make under Ashley.

I think it’s a positive thing that senior officials at the club are more public-facing and try to connect to the local community, even if it’s through sponsorship initiatives like STACK. If he’s to do it again, probably best to put out a club statement explaining the transfer window to some degree to avoid daft encounters with fans wanting to know what’s going on.

Nunes, Reiss Nelson and Sterling are probably the only players (I can think of) we’d even have a chance of negotiating for at this stage. The latter of which would need Chelsea to substantially cover his wages. Nothing is going to happen mind.
-
Do you think there’s a more nuanced view of enquiring for a seemingly unattainable player 6 hours before the deadline of a 2 and a half month long transfer window?
-
It all looks so desperate, not been used to seeing that from us in some time.
-
I’d be happy with Elanga but I’d be surprised if a deal is done without meaningful outgoings.
-
Would be some crumb of comfort if we managed to secure permanent exits for unwanted players like Fraser, Lewis, Hayden, Targett etc. one less headache to solve for future windows.

He’s got a great work / life balance as a loan coordinator. Don’t we just have Miley, Thompson and Ashby out on loan?
-
Yeah, positive result heading into the international break with some additional (good) news about the stadium and wider infrastructure would be great.
-
Even the manager is unhappy with the transfer window man
-
My concern is that the lingering effects of the transfer window will act as the catalyst for a bigger crisis if results go the other way. Going to be an especially pressurised time for the club next couple months or so.

Apparently the stadium feasibility study verdict was “really, truly imminent” according to one of our commercial officials in an interview with Mark Douglas. Three weeks ago.
-
I’d still be happy with Chalobah, I rate him.

I would normally be a bit more receptive to the benefits of having an injury-free squad with no major additions, but our performances so far this season have been concerning. We needed new additions to freshen things up, even with the reintegration of Tonali.
