  1. Surely we bring someone in now?
  2. My head was on fucking Mars when he did after Liverpool went 2-3 up. Just as well we equalised.

    Joe Willock

Personally have loads of time for him but he looks done.
  4. Maybe irrational but I absolutely hate it when he makes changes after goals go in rather than when it’s clear we need them before we concede.
  5. Utterly dismal second half performance at home and not for the first time this season.
  6. If we win today, we’re 3 points behind them with a better goal difference. Plus they’re our next home game.
  7. People go on about the PSG goal but his best 90 minutes' for us were against Brighton (h), May 2023 and the mackem game.
  8. All in all though thinking about it, like those blokes in front of me, for quite a few people the match is the least important part of their day. It's about seeing their mates and getting on the drink. The match is about that for me as well but watching and supporting NUFC is why I'm there and forked out the money for a ticket. Otherwise I'd just stay in the pub. It'll be why attendances never dipped below ~47,000 average under Ashley since our return to the PL in 2010. Even when protests were organised or when we were managed by Stephen Roger. If SJP was outside the city centre, we'd have seen some shocking gates under Ashley and rightfully so. But too many are embedded within the match being the worst part of their day out as they may have to watch Longstaff misplace a pass or us miss a chance.
  9. I have a few pints before, a few after at various pubs but usually the Bodega, none at the ground. Group of my mates, my brother, my brother's mates, my dad, my dad's mates. Head up to the ground and get into our seats before the players come out, leave after we've clapped the players off after FT (99% of the time), straight back to the pub to celebrate or whinge. May get something to eat or a hot drink if it's freezing in the ground if we're in early enough and eat it before heading up to the seat but I do find it bizarre how some can't go ~105 minutes without alcohol. Likewise with stuffing their faces. It's aaaful in the Milburn. But where I usually sit there's a row of like 5 blokes in front of us; must be between 40-60. Always arrive late, leave early before half time, back late from half time, leave before full time. When they first meet they're all standing up and are like "awh hello mate" shaking hands and back slapping like some weird cult at about 4 minutes into the game. Infuriating stuff. Felt like hoying me Bovril at them at the Bromley game.
  10. And it will continue to amaze me that people lap up that it helps PSR. It doesn’t. It just fleeces fans for the sake of it. Obviously the 10 year deal was never going to go on forever. But they don’t need to put the prices up again. Assuming it’s another 5%, that’ll be 15% in 3 years.
  11. 18 fold acca tonight (that goes out the window at 20:15)
  12. God. Filled with fewm now. Fuck sake.
  13. “Aye, but we’re gonna put them up anyway.”
  14. Digne screaming like he’s taken a round on Omaha Beach.
  15. Or they could just not fleece their own fans.
  16. Had a look at their ticket prices, given they’re charging £90+ for CL games regardless of the opposition, for PL games they charge between either, £92, £78, £72, £67.50 or £55.00 in descending order in terms of ticket category for adults and wheelchair bays. Absolutely vile. Imagine they have back to back home league games with a home CL game in the middle in a week?
  17. A few empty seats it seems at Villa. Wonder what they’re charging besides what they are for those disgusting CL prices.
  18. Agree a million percent on that.
  19. A record that always stuck in my mind; we did not win at St. James' in the PL when behind at half time for 12 years. December 2006 vs Reading all the way to Man City under Benitez in January 2019.
  20. From those who saw enough to comment, as I can only go off auld highlights; is he a better finisher than Cole or nah? Cole's scoring rate for us is an absolute joke, like. Took him 50 games to score 50 goals. Suppose that answers itself.
  21. Had a deek; 15 points gained from losing positions this season.
