  1. Some shitters to start with please, get some momentum and confidence going.

Was January, around January 15 in his thread was embarrassing if you go back and read it. But sans results we were improving under Howe then. England seem to have started a kind of regression, no goals in open play for 360 minutes. He won't go though. Not that I'm overly arsed tbh. #GeordieNotEnglish

Not right now. 3 or 4 years down the line maybe.

    Heaviest at home since 1928.

They're tired and we lost a final though, we're fine.

    But the players are tired.

Fucking hell. 0-2 down at home to the Magyars, embarrassing
  8. I'd say this is spot on. Romano is a tap in merchant as mentioned previously but his info, while usually summarising what others have said, is spot on and pretty much has to be with his whole 'here we go' shtick.

Amazing that we put ourselves through 2 years of watching this absolute shite. A lot of Bruceball as well. Christ. Just isn't the same sport.
  11. For NUFC? Pfft, can't really remember. I liked Martins due to that Spurs goal but only player I've adulated enormously since would be Ben Arfa. Never had 'idols' so to speak tbh. Just players that I really like or liked. First one I remember as I said before was Ronaldinho, was in absolute awe of those two goals he scored v Real Madrid at the Bernabeu as an almost 5 year old.
  12. Me dad brainwashed me with NUFC stuff as soon as I was born and since I did see him play live just before he retired and he scored the winner at my first ever game I'd have to say Shearer. I remember loving Ronaldinho as a kid though.
  13. Easyish start with games against the top sides spread out across the season, please. The start of 2018-19 was grim; Spurs (h), Cardiff (a), Chelsea (h), Man City (a), Arsenal (h), Palace (a), Leicester (h), Man Utd (a).
  14. Yeah but the season had already started. They were taken over in September 2008 but for the start of 2009-10 they had Etihad Airways on their shirts.
  15. I'm aware that they in particular schedule for Boxing Day clubs that are based near enough to each other for travel reasons, but that limits us to the two Manchester clubs, two Liverpool clubs and Leeds. Given we played Stoke in 2013 I don't see why we can't get a Villa or a Leicester.
  16. I like it. Reminds me of the 1987-90 kits. May get it tbf, haven't bought a kit since the 2012-13 home Virgin Money one. Been wearing retro stuff I've sniped from eBay and Depop at games for the last 4-5 years.

Yep. Those players have only had the first lockdown and some of July 2021 off from any kind of football.

Be the biggest robbery and shithousing of Germany since Versailles if we nick this.

Throwing stuff at Trippier, jorman gits.

It's not coming home, is it
  21. I like blue on our shirts but not that shade. Should be 1993-95 or 2003-05 blue, not that light colour. Really jarring.
