For NUFC? Pfft, can't really remember. I liked Martins due to that Spurs goal but only player I've adulated enormously since would be Ben Arfa. Never had 'idols' so to speak tbh. First one I remember as I said before was Ronaldinho, was in absolute awe of those two goals he scored v Real Madrid at the Bernabeu as an almost 5 year old.

Yeah but the season had already started. They were taken over in September 2008 but for the start of 2009-10 they had Etihad Airways on their shirts.

I'm aware that they in particular schedule for Boxing Day clubs that are based near enough to each other for travel reasons, but that limits us to the two Manchester clubs, two Liverpool clubs and Leeds. Given we played Stoke in 2013 I don't see why we can't get a Villa or a Leicester.
