  1. Hate to think what on earth we are if they aren’t well coached.
  2. Obviously not allowed to do it in the domestic league.
  3. Coming back from behind to go in front, away from home, against a decent side? What is this sorcery? Thought it was illegal.
  4. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/11564477/burnley-1-2-newcastle-magpies-end-10-game-monday-night-football-losing-streak https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2nMY6UStwc&pp=ygUWYnVybmxleSAxLTIgbmV3Y2FzdGxlIA%3D%3D
  5. He was, though when Isak came into the side for him after his performances either side of the cup final it was after some pretty dreadful showings from him. He was however exceptional in the run in. The first 1-4 at Everton for me is peak NUFC Callum Wilson. In his final 2 seasons, he contributed next to nowt bar a handful of goals against poor sides in 23-24. Last season it was astounding how poor he was when he got on the pitch. That Howe wanted to keep him is unbelievable. Though likewise with Almiron and it’s looking like Joelinton, maybe Pope despite how poor Ramsdale has been we’ve been so poor at selling at the right time. Wilson, Almiron and Joelinton were all rewarded with contracts at the time when they should’ve been sold. We’ve lost the former two and will likely lose the latter for nothing.
  6. Howe wanted to keep Wilson for another year, mind. Despite it being about 2 years late with moving him on. A replacement for him was priority at the outset of the summer, before it all kicked off and even with the Isak drama factored in.

He didn’t play well but put him up top or Wissa up top in that set up against a side sat off and they’re feeding off scraps. It’s woeful stuff. His ineffectiveness is a symptom of how we’re set up and the lack of ingenuity and guile in the players around him rather than it being the ailment itself.

No idea what he’s supposed to be good at. Would want and we need more than that for £40m. Especially given our hopelessness in possession against sides sitting off.
  9. Don’t want him gone as I don’t think there’s anyone out there or available that’s an upgrade. If there was though I’d probably think about it at this point. 6 points from 27 away from home, failed to score in 5/9. Look regularly clueless tactically and hopeless in possession. Something’s got to give. Sign some footballers actually half decent at passing the thing in January.
  10. We are fucking crap. Nowt else to say other than what’s been repeated after the vast majority of away games for the last year. Hopeless.
  11. They’ll be alright with us having this much of the ball. We’re fucking hopeless with it. Is what happens when you build a squad who relies on turnovers high up the pitch for chances.
  12. We consistently look absolutely fucking clueless away from home. Unacceptable.
  13. Starting to wonder how many ‘Brentford aways’ we’ve had this season now.
  14. Learning nothing new here that we already knew after so many performances this season. We just aren’t very good. After spending a fair bit in the summer as well. Rancid to watch.
  15. This the only PL match on Boxing Day; our game by the season continues to succumb to the woke.
  16. Thought that about a few sides before playing them away from home tbf.
  17. Fucking hell of a player, him.
  18. Maybe harsh as I haven’t seen it back but I thought Ramsdale was too far toward one side of the goal when that was being lined up. Thiaw slips for the second after a percentage ball from Gordon. Just deflating as we couldn’t put the game away against a really ordinary looking Chelsea side after being 2 up at half time.
  19. No idea how we didn’t get a pen, but I get more and more impressed with the ways we find to throw games away.
