Man City look fucking lifting. Dreadful.

Saw all your quotes Heza and was shitting myself.

Bit of an if and a maybe that, mind. I don't think players sign for clubs based on the stadium they play at. It's not proving that we won't but it's not going to make the difference that some think, imo. Again, that's all just opinion and that's absolutely fine. I don't know. They may be right in the end but they have not gotten everything right since coming in. Ticketing and the summer window being two such examples.

Arsenal, who won 3 league titles in the 9 years before moving, haven't won it since in the 18 years since moving. Who were told they were moving stadia to 'compete with Bayern Munich', yet have progressed past the CL QFs once since moving and still are yet to win a major European honour that still exists. And I would imagine that these clubs move stadia due to a want to increase capacity due to ticket demand* or their previous stadia were outdated either from the publication of the Taylor Report or for just moving into the modern age (turnstiles, concourses left over from the 70s, 80s etc) *the only reason I recognise a want for a new stadium and I personally want an expansion to SJP if a city centre ground isn't feasible. There's no evidence that a new ground would make a discernible difference in income that we could effectively utilise. Matchday revenue often makes fewer than 15% of a PL club's revenue.

How could it? So far, its done absolutely nothing for Spurs. Other than taking concessions for seniors away. And maybe not on here, but you see that argument elsewhere online.
-
Because I just find it a moronic argument, really. Us having a new stadium which will likely (not certainly but given what they've done with SJP is an indicator) be full of corporate nonsense will have zero impact on the on-the-pitch success. Us, like Spurs, are also shit at winning things. They have the shiny new ground that loads fawn over with zero tangible success to show for it. In fact, they're probably in a worse position now than they were before it. But "a new stadium will take us to another level". Aye, reet. Plus quite a few of their fans starting to dislike it is telling.
-
Which totally and utterly negates the argument that a new stadium would help us win things or become a global player.
-
Sponsorships and better players trading. Not fleecing fans. Plus, only Man Utd have that capacity bracket you've mentioned in the league.

This Spurs fan is realising that. At least they can host NFL and have an on site micro brewery, though. https://twitter.com/fullback03/status/1858543658070610010?t=6UrfVx8lFXKaOZ1bC965fw&s=19

Whilst I agree with the first bit it's hardly a casualty of PSR either. The FSA have wrote a few articles about this, it's a lie/excuse that so many unfortunately lap up. https://thefsa.org.uk/news/ticket-price-pain-rising-costs-measured-in-the-football-price-index/ https://thefsa.org.uk/news/high-ticket-prices-are-not-the-answer-to-psr/ I've lost faith that it'll happen particularly for us. See our lot with the CL scheme last season and general price rises. Even on here. Some defending Villa charging £94-£99 for 1 CL game regardless of opposition. Only in recent times I remember Liverpool fans protesting against ticket price hikes. Back in 2016, their fans walked out of a game against the mackems on the 77th minute in protest at tickets going up to £77. Whilst LFC relented and lowered them back to before that protest, they were 2-0 up in that game against the mackems. After the walkout they conceded twice in the final 10 minutes and drew the game 2-2. If that happened here the fans that walked out would be getting blamed by others for it rather than looking at the bigger picture. Many couldn't even when people tried protesting against Ashley.

Did Abdoulaye Faye celebrate scoring for them against us at SJP for West Ham or Stoke? Between those 2.

Adidas just need to remake that for us. Its perfect.
-
It's an iconic kit but I've never liked central crests for some reason.
-
Not allowed in European competitions per UEFA rules which Adidas will abide to on all shirts. That back on Juve's is the perfect compromise.
-
Nah. The collar being a different colour to the stripe it's on is jarring. See 2021-22 and the "number 4". Unless you mean invert the colours, with which I'd still vehemently disagree. I will die on the hill that that Juve shirt is the perfect shirt for us in every single regard. Even with the back as I much prefer a black back with white numbers than what we have now.
-
The collar is almost identical to the 95-96 shirt. And it did have a variant with black shorts and black socks.
-
Black back with white numbers > white patch with black numbers.
-
Potentially unpopular opinion but I wouldn't mind us changing it up for a season on home kit ie having the barcode design or having a half black and half white shirt a la that members kit. Of course, I'd much rather they just remade Juventus' 2017-18 kit for us. Dunno why that'd be so difficult.

Another failure for me. Only been successful for Wimbledon and Brentford.

I'll be joining him.

I think he does. Not 100% though.
