    Jacob Ramsey

Thought he was good, again. However, don’t know what he’s specifically good at tbh.
  2. He isn’t very good. But I do think many are gasping to pounce on the first mistake he makes in games, mind. Both in the ground and on here.

    Yoane Wissa

Not convinced by him tbh. Snatched at early chances twice in a couple days and seems to almost live offside.
  4. Thought we played well tbh. First goal came when we had 10 men on the pitch but the second goal is a killer. Puts us out. Bit disappointing we couldn’t score against that Man City back line, mind. Ah well.
  5. Playing loads of games is part of being a successful club and something everyone involved needs getting used to. But that amount of away games in such a small space of time is a joke.
  6. No, we haven’t. We’ve won 12 at Spurs and West Ham. 9 at Villa and 1 in the last 9 visits. Beaten them the most times competitively than any other club, mind.
  7. PSG (a) Liverpool (a) Man City (a) Brentford (h) Spurs (a) Villa (a) Man City (a), again Our late Jan to mid February run.
  8. Wonder who Real Madrid go for tbh; the manager options available right now are atrocious. They'll probably just get Zidane back in for 43rd time until the end of the season to win the CL again.
  9. Don't think a draw would be a disaster tbh. Makes the second leg a one off game albeit away. Plus, last season we'd a horrid record at the Emirates going into the 1st leg at Arsenal. Low and behold...
  10. Hoping it's going to be a case of 'what the hell do I know' but with Schar probably out for a decent chunk of time, Livramento as well, Burn still being weeks away* and Botman's overall injury record it seems a bit reckless to me not getting a defender in this window. Mainly due to the volume of games on top of the quality of the opposition in those games. If Botman pulls up or god forbid Thiaw got an injury we're not even barebones at the back, there's no bones left. *Unspecified number of weeks of course but if it was kind and it was say, 3 weeks, that's still 6 games out.
  11. Pervertz on. Wonder if he’s in the mood to elbow or snap someone for no reason today, the relentless bellwhiff.
  12. Artetaliban and his haramball strike again. Shame on the league for allowing these to win the title. Shame.
  13. Might be a bit tough to mark someone who’s cup tied tbf.
  14. Someone shite at home who won’t give a toss about this competition. So a shite Championship side at home or something.
  15. I was only alive during Keegan's second stint; though I've always been made aware of his impact and legacy. It's what the club is now. Given Keegan himself tries to forget about his second stint, I'll do so here, and go for Howe as the best, followed by Robson, Benitez and Hughton. There was a similar discussion I remember a while back about our all time PL managers and found my post in that, it's below. Nowt's really changed tbh.

  17. I've got links for West Ham at home and Coventry away but you've probably already seen the former per pre match threads. I don't think Middlesbrough at home was televised that season? Was a Wednesday night midweek match. I think the below are the televised games from 95-96; Sheff Wed (a) Chelsea (h) Everton (a) Spurs (a) Liverpool (a) (League Cup) Wimbledon (a) Man Utd (a) Chelsea (a) (FA Cup) Arsenal (a) (League Cup) Coventry (a) Man Utd (h) West Ham (h) Liverpool (a) Blackburn (a) Villa (h) Leeds (a) Forest (a) Spurs (h) You can tell on the old season reviews; if Roger Tames isn't commentating then that game was on TV as they have the Sky commentary on instead of the proverbial exocet merchant.
  18. Artetanyahu with another eye catching attacking display from his team, I see.
