  1. Bruce will take us down. Literally anyone else would keep us up.
  2. Didn't see their last 2 goals due to the stream just dying. Fell to bits at the end, just like against these at home last season, Leeds away, Man City at home.
  3. Not been as bad today as I thought it would've been, not cause for celebration though. Hate losing to these cunts, rancid arsehole fans, mass celebration of a rapist, vile club, vile fans. Be class if Old Trafford collapsed with all the fuckers in it.
  4. Despise the wankfest about that fucking rapist. Hope he keels owa tbh.
  5. Might work. Would probably go 4-2-3-1 though, think that suits our player pool best, both with who's available atm and the squad as a whole. Even just 5-4-1 would make us more solid defensively, it's what we played in 19-20 when we were still fairly solid defensively; our wing backs don't get outnumbered and there's an out ball. Assuming players are in their right positions of course.
  6. Was probably McClaren v Bournemouth. Can see a repeat v Leeds. Hopefully anyway.
  7. Put a daft bet that I saw on Twitter on. 3 games. Lewandowski to score and Krychowiak to be booked. Bale to score and Pikk to be booked. Batshuayi to score and Bykov to be booked. 670/1.
  8. That's fair but I think I'll agree to disagree with you on this. The way the club is run and the manager both deserve relegation for sure but for me, and this where we differ, this still is Newcastle United to me. It's still my club, its shit, to quote Keegan literally anyone else could run it better, but it still is and because I personally don't believe the fanbase can ever get together effectively in relation to protesting/boycotting I'm just trying to make the most of the shite husk that it is.
  9. I can personally never get to that point tbh. About any team or player we play. I don't think it's particularly healthy and most non NUFC lads I'm mates with wouldn't understand it. I see why some get to that point though, but I'm just at the stage where I get a modicum of excitement when we score or look good but am not overly arsed when it's bad. If this season was under Benitez I'd be panicking like a geet arsehole, worrying where the hell our next win is coming from or whatever. Under Bruce I'm like, yeah, given the statement the club put out there's a minute chance that if we stay winless until the next international break then he might go. But he probably won't. Like a few posts above, Howe would change it for me, would he to come in. Whether Bruce ever gets the bullet though, who knows.
  10. The remit under Ashley is that it'll always be shit, never will there be a desire to be better. But having the right or simply just a likeable manager in place makes you forget all that; look back between May 2016 and May 2018 on here, some of the now most apathetic posters were proper active in match threads and were posting about the football. That's what a manager like Benitez brought here. Bruce just makes it all the more detestable. I've more or less accepted the Ashley status quo because I never will believe that the current embodiment of the fanbase (or 95% of modern English football fans tbh) will ever have to stomach for mass protest, boycotts or pressure on the owner. I'm at the stage now where I just focus on the 90 minutes on the Saturday and nothing else outside of that. Even still, this coming Saturday and West Ham away in 2019-20 are games I willingly choose/chose not to watch due to the grimness of it all. But that 90 minutes is all I can get from the club at the minute. The club changing ownership to me is just something that will happen eventually down the line, probably in the next couple years but given the state of NUFC twitter and the takeover thread on here I pay next to no attention to it. It'll happen when it happens. But Bruce fucking off will give me almost as much pleasure as when Rafa stayed in 2016, so long as he's replaced with someone likeable and competent. It's why I talk about Howe a lot in my posts, I think he's a very good fit and he'd probably take it. And I may be able to get some enjoyment from watching us under him, where that enjoyment comes from, I dunno. In spite of the larger picture of it all being pointless.
  11. The news just keeps on getting better. He should then put Murphy in his actual position and play Manquillo in his actual position. He won't though. The Manc cunt.
  12. Can't wait for Bruce to play that odious self harming 5-3-1-1 with half the team out of position. If he wants to keep the score down below 5 go 10-0-0 5-4-1, stops the wing backs getting outnumbered all the time, gives an out ball and puts ASM in his actual position and Almirón (if he can play) in a position where he's been useful in the past. But he won't. The fucking spacka. Howay the 4+ goal defeat.
  13. I'd rather not see us concede a hattrick to that rapist tbh.
  14. Would probably be of use under a different manager. Our injury record under Bruce is beyond a joke tbh. There's been times even when fit that Bruce has brought him on in CM. If Bruce is ever out of the equation almost every aspect of the football side of things; performances, the actual football, injuries, general likability et cetera will all improve.
  15. The 3-2 defeat under Benitez when we went 0-2 up, yeah. Blatant handball and penalty to us at 0-2 in the first half. We get that and score it, go 0-3 up at Old Trafford in the first half, we win that. The bald Manc prick.
  16. Under a certain young, progressive coach, aye. Bring him here and my interest would be semi rekindled.
  17. "The team is fully capable of delivering". Delivering what, a 12th place finish? Dat ambition. Almost reads like a message to Bruce, passive aggressive to their own manager via a club statement. What a club.
  18. No name is attached to it, Charnley?
  19. So, COVID only affected us it seems. We should be delighted that the club finally paid for a transfer in instalments. You know, the way every other fucking club in world football plays for transfers? "We finished 12th last year and can do again. Now fuck off." Completely ignoring the fact that every other team has improved. No mention of TV revenue, where's it gone? Fuck off.
  20. Game was 33 years ago today funnily enough. A season that would turn to shit. 3 home wins, bottom, relegated.
  21. I'd take being winless until the next break (4th-15th October) if it meant he fucked off, mind. But screw just giving Jones the gig, he's part of this shit set up. But I do agree, it'd be Jones, Wilder ( ) or Howe. Probably that order in terms of likelihood too. Ugh.
  22. Does anyone reckon that there's even a remote chance he gets sacked or leaves at some point this season? If performances are still AIDS and the SJP goers have owt about them, which after Southampton I have faith that they might do, and the atmosphere is toxic at games could that force him to walk or be sacked? Allardyce was deed to the supporters after Liverpool and McClaren was after Bournemouth. Wonder if atmospheres like that will have any sway. Doubt it, like.
