Middlesbrough QPR looks like a good game. Another good goal for Young Boys, Ferencvaros are so poor.
-
Been a couple of class goals in the Young Boys v Ferencvaros game.
-
David McGoldrick is absolutely shit. Missed an absolute sitter.
-
I know, I surrendered and listened to most of it. Also depends whether the presenters/hosts bottle it. He should be getting pelters or good questions about why he's so shit rather than wondering what sauce he puts on his steak pies.
-
Wheyyy, Joe hates the mackems.
-
Switched it off, couldn't listen.
-
On BBC Radio Newcastle now. Dunno whether to listen or not, instead of decent questions he'll probably get asked what is his favourite flavour of crisp. Cringetastic.

The centre half saga is beyond a fucking joke. Let Lejeune go out on loan before selling him for a pittance despite being one of our best centre halves; Bruce obviously hasn't forgiven him for Leicester (h) NYD 2020, even though it was Bruce rushing him back from injury which played a part in him being paggered and giving 2 goals away. Be willing to let Schär go whilst allowing the worst defender at the club to play in his position fuck right off. No idea who we can bring in at CB but RB/RWB and CM are a glaring issue. Dunno if Arsenal will allow us to keep on raiding their young players but someone like Maitland-Niles on loan can play both wing back and CM which can free Murphy or whoever up. Kamara looks the best CM besides Willock we've been linked with and the deal can obviously be done with him being in the last year of his contract and him turning a new one at Marseille. Not having this 'we can't afford him' bollocks. We clearly can with the way we know our budget works. '£10m budget' then we fork out £22m-25m on Willock. Aye, reet. Fuck off, absolute joke of a football club.
-
1-1 or 2-1 either way. We're shite in defence but have Willock coming into the midfield and have fret in attack. Villa, judging by their Watford performance, are probably the same. ASM should have Targett on toast given what Sarr was able to do if Targett starts. But Smith is lightyears ahead of Bruce.
-
Then Grealish had a night out with a few of our players after his goal that won us the Championship. Plus brummie's sound.
-
Lost the last two and that game from which the Gouffran goal in the OP is our last win there. Been some grim draws.

That'll be this cunt. Had a previous account called Denham doing the exact same stuff. Some people have replied to his tweets saying that he's apparently a friend of the Ashley family but dunno if that's true. Hope he falls into the Thames and can't get back out, the rancid wanker.
-
He's been out for a while tbf but we do need a defensive midfielder who is better with the ball than Hayden. No idea if Choudhury is that but he may be worth a punt. Need a RB too tbh, when Manquillo who admittedly isn't great Bruce puts Murphy at wing back whilst he's a winger or we have to suffer Krafth playing football. Dunno what he was like at WBA and Arsenal may not want us raiding their young players again but would Maitland-Niles be worth a shot?
-
I'm alright with playing the 5-3-2 away from home providing that some changes to the personnel are made, like playing CBs at CB, playing midfielders in midfield and playing our £15m young wing back in place of a 31 year old Matt Ritchie. But yeah, 4-2-3-1 needs to be played at home as we have the ideal players for it. Woodman Manquillo/Murphy Schar Fernandez Lewis Hayden/Shelvey Willock Saint-Maximin Almiron Fraser Wilson Don't want Shelvey starting or Murphy at full back; Bruce tax.
-
I think a lot of their stuff looks good, the home kit could've been done better but it's better than a lot of Puma's efforts. Like a lot of their training stuff too. But charging £165 for a hoodie is scandalous. Just like the club charging nigh on £50 for match tickets, it's completely out of touch with the economic background of most people in the North East.
-
From Man Utd, yeah. Depends what Leeds turns up and what Newcastle turns up for that game tbf. If Bruce doesn't win any of the next 2 league games I think it'll start to turn. That'll be facilitated if we lose the cup game against Burnley.
-
Hope Grimes was flattened on Barrack Road by an angry driver after the game, the rancid Tory racist cunt.
-
We had 2 recognised CBs on the bench with a RB starting the game at CB and a recognised left wing back who seemingly had a good pre season on the bench with a winger at left wing back. Instead of harping on about the penalty (which was saved and just before it was given Antonio missed an open goal from 5 yards) which wasn't a pen tbf, people interviewing Bruce should be asking him how he feels to concede 4 goals at home for the 3rd time in his tenure, something which hadn't happened since February 2014. Or why he's playing players out of position, or why West Ham overran us in midfield for the entire game. Ugh.

One of the leaders of BLM in the US was seen to describe herself as a Marxist I think, which is immediately taken alongside 'defund the police' and applied to taking the knee in this country because when they started taking a knee after the restart of football in 19-20 the players wore 'Black Lives Matter' on their shirts. Its unbelievably shortsighted bollocks.
-
Some thick arseholes in fanbases up and down the country boo a 5 second gesture that their team does because they believe the absolute guff that the right has churned out about it being Marxist whilst most people who boo it don't know what Marxism is. They've been told that it's pandering to a 'Marxist organisation' which is just a mask to hide behind so they can boo/jeer a stance against racism because they're probably racists themselves.
-
Erm...I know. Off the ball it's like playing with 10 men when he's in the side, like I posted.
-
I actually thought he was decent on the ball today off the ball though its like playing with 10 men, Soucek and Rice are light years ahead of him.
-
Absolute arsehole, this cunt. Playing a right back at centre half and wingers at wing back despite having two recognised centre halves and and a recognised wing back on the bench. Conceding 4 goals at home for the 3rd time under him and for 25 minutes having one recognised centre mid on the pitch. Fuck off. If we don't win any league games in August he's fucked imo.

If I'm gonna be honest lads, I'm glad fans are back. Football is alive again, regardless of what we think of NUFC, the PL, whatever. I may be a few pints deep ( ) but I'm glad. Like I posted a few posts above that sort of pattern is fucking boring. It's horribly toxic and like Yorkie puts it quite well, it's a waste of energy. This is the fanbase of Newcastle United and always has been it. We've been in lockdown for more or less 18 months and people are finally feeling freedom; some may think that's ordering at the bar in the pub, not needing to wear a mask, or going to watch their team. That's what many believe when they go and tbh I kinda still feel the same way. I haven't been since May 2019 for Rafa's last game but fuck me I miss it. The energy of scoring, anger of conceding, the passion of singing for your team. The atmosphere sounded good today and tbph I'm sad I wasn't part of it. I love Newcastle United, simple as that and this to me still is Newcastle United. The owner is a parasitic cunt, the manager is a clueless bell end, a lot of the squad are shite but it's still my club and I want them to do well and win. The lot who booed the lads taking the knee I hope keel owa mind.
