I'm unsure of the idea that Ashley would only sack Bruce if we were adrift. We sacked McClaren when we were 1 point from safety with 10 games left. Hardly adrift. Obviously we know now that that was too late but in strict terms we weren't 'adrift'. Probably grasping at straws like.

The luck has run out, bar Watford and 45 minutes against West Ham we've been absolutely dreadful all season. Even when we're handed points on a plate a la Southampton we've fucked it. Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal, Leicester, Liverpool, Man City all yet to play in spite of their respective seasons. The atmospheres from our lot are non existent apart from when chanting against Bruce interspersed with silence. It has relegation written all over it. Remove Bruce and that goes. To me it doesn't even make sense for Ashley to keep Bruce now: he'll relegate us in which case he can wave his potential £300m+ deal goodbye. Get rid and we'll be safe, the atmospheres will improve, attendances will go up, et cetera. All of this to save around £3m, it doesn't make any fucking sense.

He's had his best games for us in his actual position: in the middle behind the striker. Under Benitez he tended to be on the left of the attacking 3 in a 3-4-3, Bruce has played him for the majority of his tenure on either flank, and this season in centre midfield. In his position is also where is output is greatest: WBA away FA Cup in 19-20, scores a brace, plays a key part in our third goal, gets taken off by Bruce, we fall to bits. The run of games after the restart; Sheff Utd, Bournemouth, West Ham; scored and/or assisted in those games. Southampton at home last season, scores a brace. But then never gets played there again. Utilised correctly he is a very useful player at this level. Bruce never will have the mental capacity to do so, Benitez played him in a role that suited the side we had at the time but we didn't get to see him at his best because of that role.

If Bruce was jettisoned I wouldn't care one way or the other if he was kept on as a coach but he shouldn't be anywhere near the role. Less so than the block of lard currently in it, mind.

10 with Bruce. 1.5 if he is replaced, and that doesn't include Jones.

A couple more.

#wait until we lose to Chelsea, then we'll think about it.

No wins in 7, out of the cup and only 1 of the traditional big 6 played so far. Even the hierarchy would benefit from him fucking off imo, attendances would improve if he was replaced, atmosphere would too. General mood around the club away from the Ashley perspective would improve tenfold. Just look at Villa at a lower level. Exact same thing happened. Our next 4 are awful and December looks brutal. If he's still in charge I genuinely can't see us winning under him. Replace him now and we'd have a really good chance of beating Tottenham and getting something from Palace. It genuinely doesn't make any sense even for Ashley anymore, keeping lard arse here.
-
Hope is spot on. Again. He simply has to go, everything away from the ownership about the club would improve if he was to. Villa a prime example.

Conceded the most(?) goals since the restart in June 2020, kept only 3 clean sheets at SJP in that run, 2 of which were against Sheffield United.
-
Lots of wider national journalists now acknowledging he needs to fuck off.
-
If he's fucked off now, we'd probably pick 4 points up from the next two, the change in mood would be that vast.
-
7 wins in 37(?).
-
Clueless, reflecting of the cunt in charge. He will take us down. Get rid now and its fine. I'm praying that's his last game in charge, but it probably won't be.
-
Why did he pass that? Fucking helmet.

He did the siuu

Doucoure, Godfrey, Shaw 80/1

I know that your tongue is bursting through your cheek there but he's clearly rattled by a modicum of dissent and it'll be more vociferous from away followings. Hope the lads going down to Wolverhampton tomorrow keep it up.
-
I can see something like the Community Shield being played abroad, like the Italian Super Cup is. Anything more than that and media and fan pressure will push it back imo. (or hope)
-
On the idea purely, it can fuck off. Newcastle United should play in Newcastle. Manchester City and Manchester United should play in Manchester. Liverpool and Everton likewise, and so on. Overseas pre season tours, fine. But if overseas fans choose an overseas club to follow they should either accept they have to travel overseas to watch them or support their local side. The thing as a whole, it's nothing but pure greed from this rancid, money grubbing, capitalist band of cunts that run modern football at the top now. They can get to fuck more than anyone else in world football.

Him calling the feelings of the fanbase 'a bit noisy' or calling it just 'noise' is fucking insulting iyam.

Serious indictment of what the bloke is; a enthusiasm sapping loser. If he was to take charge of your squad now, Leicester, West Ham or Everton, he'd have them struggling. He is that bad its unbelievable. Speaks volumes that Smith came in (a manager with little pedigree in the game certainly at the time of his appointment) and made you far more fun to watch, think I remember one 5-5 draw , but the enthusiasm from the fans surely had gone up tenfold when lard arse got the bullet. Then he takes you on a run of 10(?) straight wins and gets you up via the play offs. It's unbelievable. If he fucked off after Saturday or whenever we'd be comfortably safe.

I think the most likely scenario in relation to him leaving is him departing by 'mutual consent' where he gets some sort of pay off. Wouldn't be surprised if Ashley refuses though and insists he resigns instead so he doesn't have to pay him, if he does end up walking. ( ) Hope the fans at Wolves keep at him.
