  2. Not sure whether to put these "rumours" in the braindead thread or not anymore. Seen much of this guy, VI?
  3. Aye, they are quite racist as well from what I've read. Urgh. Saw flags for it for both us and Spurs in L7 when we played them, unfortunately. https://socialistworker.co.uk/art/44919/Football+Lads+Alliance+the+threat+of+a+new+racist+movement+on+the+streets

  5. What is this 'FLA' ('Football Lads Alliance)? There's a flag for it in the Leicester end. Is it like a yer da Brexit football super fan group?
  6. You've got to say it's a pretty negative spin on it, though.
  7. Sky twisting his words, and going by the replies a few relentless mongs take Sky's interpretation of things as gospel.
  8. Imagine Charnley talking to someone like him.
  9. Recent TF podcast is a good listen.
  10. Michael Martin is a right c*** but that article is true in every word. As was said in that piece, things have been bad in the past but the difference now is that the person running the club isn't even trying to make the club successful. I wasn't around for the McKeag years and I've been unable to read too much about it apart from a snippet from the book Touching Distance. Only thing I know are best players sold for the building of a new stand, stadium in awful condition, shit team, crowds of mostly <17,000, how different were those years to now? My dad went to games in that period and he still goes now, but he never really talks of it.
  11. Sky can't wait for NUFC to reprise it's role as the biggest circus in town, if they can egg it on a little bit and get the less edumacated on board the boo train then all the better. Aye, clear agenda imo. Started when Ashley's c*** mate who came in a couple of weeks ago, then the interview and broken promises on money, Sky backing Ashley all the way. They want us to fail. TF podcast pointed this out; why else would we be on TV in August-November more than Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal?
  12. I'd be inclined to agree with Carragher on that one, to be honest. The whole issue is Ashley's doing, obviously, but I've said from day one that I think Rafa has made a mistake in making it public. I think, as Carragher has said, that all it has achieved is a removal of morale, and would have been much better if had been dealt with properly behind the scenes. The mood around the club has been s**** since June to be honest, and Rafa has to take some of the blame for that. All that being said, we obviously wouldn't be having this conversation at all had Ashley not been a fuckwit and kept his promises. The last paragraph is all it boils down to, mate. I tried being optimistic before Spurs and the performance gave me enough to make me think we'd go into Huddersfield getting a win but I overestimated this squad. It's just not good enough and is crying out for investment which it won't get. It's so fucking infuriating, man.
  13. Carra can f*** off. Thought he was alright tbh despite the made up funny language he speaks as he's called out Ashley before. Can fuck off now, though.
  14. It's negativity caused by Ashley lying. Why the fuck can't some people see that?
  15. Michael Martin is a right cunt but that article is true in every word.
  16. Been criticized by Carragher for the leaking of behind the scenes discontent news to press which has removed the buzz about what is usually around a newly promoted club, and that is gone. It's Ashley that needs to be criticized; Rafa feels that he has to leak stuff to the press to get s*** done. He's leaking it because he's been lied to: by Ashley, and he wants those promises kept. Carragher should've just replaced 'Rafa' with 'Ashley' and he would've been bang on the money.
  17. When did this sanitisation and globalisation start? Many cite 1992 due to Sky/PL but back then did it not seem that the televised games actually meant something, if your club was on TV whether at home or away it felt like a massive occasion? Now it's just a pain as it makes fans unable to get to games, and it happens at least once every 2 or 3 weeks. Like why the fuck is West Brom v Stoke on 'Super Sunday' this weekend, man?
  18. Think you walk under the Milburn stand and the entrance is on your right near the glass doors where the players and staff go in iirc. Cheers, Wullie.
  19. Going to this, sitting in the Platinum Club for the first time. The turnstile on the match ticket just read "Platinum Club", is there an actual like, turnstile for it? I've no clue where I'm going.
  20. Never going to be ambitious enough to get (or even try and go for) him anyway.
