I'd be inclined to agree with Carragher on that one, to be honest. The whole issue is Ashley's doing, obviously, but I've said from day one that I think Rafa has made a mistake in making it public. I think, as Carragher has said, that all it has achieved is a removal of morale, and would have been much better if had been dealt with properly behind the scenes. The mood around the club has been s**** since June to be honest, and Rafa has to take some of the blame for that. All that being said, we obviously wouldn't be having this conversation at all had Ashley not been a fuckwit and kept his promises. The last paragraph is all it boils down to, mate. I tried being optimistic before Spurs and the performance gave me enough to make me think we'd go into Huddersfield getting a win but I overestimated this squad. It's just not good enough and is crying out for investment which it won't get. It's so fucking infuriating, man.

Carra can f*** off. Thought he was alright tbh despite the made up funny language he speaks as he's called out Ashley before. Can fuck off now, though.

It's negativity caused by Ashley lying. Why the fuck can't some people see that?

Michael Martin is a right cunt but that article is true in every word.

Been criticized by Carragher for the leaking of behind the scenes discontent news to press which has removed the buzz about what is usually around a newly promoted club, and that is gone. It's Ashley that needs to be criticized; Rafa feels that he has to leak stuff to the press to get s*** done. He's leaking it because he's been lied to: by Ashley, and he wants those promises kept. Carragher should've just replaced 'Rafa' with 'Ashley' and he would've been bang on the money.

When did this sanitisation and globalisation start? Many cite 1992 due to Sky/PL but back then did it not seem that the televised games actually meant something, if your club was on TV whether at home or away it felt like a massive occasion? Now it's just a pain as it makes fans unable to get to games, and it happens at least once every 2 or 3 weeks. Like why the fuck is West Brom v Stoke on 'Super Sunday' this weekend, man?

Think you walk under the Milburn stand and the entrance is on your right near the glass doors where the players and staff go in iirc. Cheers, Wullie.

Going to this, sitting in the Platinum Club for the first time. The turnstile on the match ticket just read "Platinum Club", is there an actual like, turnstile for it? I've no clue where I'm going.

Never going to be ambitious enough to get (or even try and go for) him anyway.

Post match from 10:00 if anyone's interested.

We actually going to sign this guy? On the bench again for Chelsea today.

See Ashley's throw away the cups has worked on you. The League Cup is pretty s****, let's be honest. Not losing anyone for West Ham is more important at the minute. Wasn't last season.

Never like geordiedean for a needlessly over reactionary post. why is it over reactionary? I'd put my mortgage on it that this squad won't win 10 games. Some people need to take the blinkers off Ok.

He constantly peddles this '1 or 2 games from a crisis' line. No Graeme, it's because you were just a shit manager.

Yeah, let's talk about the Spurs game, it's only in 3 and a half hours. Cunts.

Seems that they've done a relatively lengthy interview with Rafa inside SJP so hopefully it's not as much of a joke as last week seemed.
-
Wonder if they'll be anything like this from last season.

Would love Batshuayi here but if Rafa's already ruled out any more strikers coming in then why the fuck are they penning an article about looking at getting another striker?
