I'd had them prior to that as well as part of buying a Bond. Got a certificate (framed on my spare room wall), name on my seat forever and 3 years free cup tie tickets which due to number of home ties we had in both domestic competitions and Europe at the time almost paid for the bond. I had a bond as well and remember all the free tickets I got with it for cup games. Still got the certificate framed as well. I moved seats a few years back and have wondered since I moved if my name was still on my seat. Think it may well be. On my Dad's seat it has the name 'Glenn' on.

Just seen a video on YouTube entitled “Newcastle United Memories” and it came to a part when Keegan was manager in the 90s getting interviewed, and he says “I looked at the bus as we were going down there and I thought; ‘you know, I don’t want to be the manager who takes this team down to the 3rd Division’ because it wouldn’t have been totally fair on myself and Terry. We inherited somebody else’s players. We inherited a club that was absolutely devoid of leadership from top to bottom, so in many many ways we found ourself in a boat trying to paddle out with people that, I think if we’re honest, they wouldn’t be our choice as footballers. But nevertheless, those same players did us proud.” The similarities in both us and KK in the 2 seasons in the then 2nd Division (1991/92 & 1992/93) and the season and a quarter we’ve had under Rafa excites me and makes me love the man even more.

A few days before. Cheers. It's just I thought that Burton away would've been on TV somewhere, whether on Sky or elsewhere.

When do the overseas TV announce games that they show, such as Rotherham away last weekend?

Anyone else had a problem logging in on the new ticket website? When I enter my details (email address & password) it comes up with "We are currently not able to log you in".

To make everyone here feel old, my first game was when we beat Mansfield Town at home in the FA Cup 1-0 under Souness.

Which 2 cunts voted Rafa in the poll?

Stawberry Corner, though mate. I'm in Block L in the East Stand, and even there the atmosphere is canny, albeit all the noise is coming from the Strawberry Corner, but it's close enough. Plus you get a cracking view of the match.

I f***ing hate international breaks Think we'll win this one though, quite comfortable n'al. Going for 3-0. This is down to that I'm again going with a mate of mine who every match he's been at, we've won. He's only been to a handful mind, his games are Aston Villa in 2011/12 (2-1 win), Palace in 2013/14 (1-0 win), Liverpool last season (2-0 win) and Norwich on Wednesday night (4-3 win). Howay the lads.

The fact that they're contemplating getting rid of Bilic at all I know I don't know the full details in what's going on at West Ham, but howay man

I'm not sure that it's a problem with our away support as such, think it's more a generation sort of thing and the drug culture that unfortunately exists around the young adults at the moment. Aye don't think it's our fans much, but I can see it, as in this sort of culture showing through primarily my mackem mates; hate to imagine what they're like at games. Just thank fuck they're mackems.
-
It's people from the younger generation (mine, funnily enough) who've got so wrapped in the "Bantz Bible" culture in which football matches in general are more about pitch invasions, winding other fans up, causing bother and just being a complete c*** is more important than the actual football, the odd pint and craic with your mates. Embarrassing stuff.

How many now do cowies in the toilets? The times I've seen that...ffs.
