  1. That is class, hes giving the look of I have well & truly clocked you taking a sly pic
  2. Him fewmin here in March last year is always worth a watch.
  3. I still get/feel a buzz, mind. Especially last season. Perhaps it's an age thing, younger fans feel it more than older. Probably because the latter are more used to the misery.
  4. And Benitez knew this before he took the job. I can't be arsed with this will he won't he walk nonsense and to be honest if he does then we've lost a good manager but one who knew what he was getting into. I don't want to be in a situation where were are crapping ourselves every day in case he gets upset and walks out, it's ridiculous. Been trying to put my thoughts into words and you've pretty much nailed it. It's always going to be a house of cards under Ashley, but I'd rather not worry about that every single day. I'd rather enjoy the ride, as enervating as that ride is.

  6. *Checks age* Ooohf. So your first memory is probably...what? Souness? My first game was an FA Cup game at home to Mansfield Town. Shearer scored the winner with 10 minutes to go I think. Grim game. January '06 it was so it is Souness, aye. First season ticket 2007/08, Allardyce in charge with Ashley in his first year
  7. Nostalgia...yeah...not a lot to be nostalgic about for me.
  8. Absolute scenes when that lad stuck it top bins for us Just had a watch of it again
  9. Article translates roughly to Rafa Benitez's Newcastle wants Lucas Perez The arrival of Adrián to Deportivo seems to be in a matter of hours. And it seems that the Rafa Benitez's Newcastle has taken the lead in the race to sign Lucas Perez. Newcastle is willing to put the €15 million requested by Arsenal on the table. Wenger still has Coruñes. In fact, in the Super Cup against Chelsea, Lucas Perez did not have any minutes.
  10. I haven't seen it for years either. Only thing from it I have recently seen was Newcastle and Brighton fans having a volley challenge thing the day before the last game of last season.
  11. That Arsenal game, man. Think we had 6 or 7 bookings not including the red for Mitro. Arsenal got one booking.

Never went under 47,000 under McClaren. Much to our detriment, though. Even with a boycott, I don't think it's gone below 40,000 ? The Spurs boycott back in 2015 was under 40,000 imo like. The attendance they issued was based on tickets sales, including STs who didn't turn up. Anyway, I hope those days of unrest are gone.
  13. If we get beat it won't be emphatically. Think it'll be a draw regardless.
  14. That and Forest away will forever stick in my mind, like.
  15. I think we're a good striker away from having a fairly decent season back (14th-9th, in no real bother throughout the season). Our run of games August-November gives me hope. Hopefully it's not false hope.

  17. He also said we'd sign Grosicki. Didn't realise it had already been posted. But tbd theres been a few deals supposedly lined up by Rafa that have then not been followed through on. Possible Grosiki could be the same? Also possible he's talking bollocks but i'd doubt that seeing as he does know Rafa well. It was already reported by Caulkin that the Grosicki stuff is bollocks though, i don't particularly believe he knows anything tbh. While it's obvious Rafa is frustrated i do feel it's not to the extent the media are playing it up to be. I'm the same.
